Any one got Star ocean: Till the end of time?
Its great. I was expecting to hear about it here as it is a Square-Enix game but i cant find any posts.

I still havent started the second one yet, im gonna do ff8 first.

its a good game but ive never played.. ive only watched my friend play it :laugh:

i have it and i love the game its soooooooCOOL and i beat it,

Supposidly its the hardest RPG ever. Well with pleanty of bosses from 1-10 million hit points with battles in real time i agree. =)

Star Ocean: Til the end of time, is, in my opinion, way better than it's prequel. The battle system is solid and very easy to come to terms with. Some of the attacks in the game (Especially Nel's and Fayt's final attack) are truly awesome and dish out some pretty hefty damage.

The story is good, if somewhat used before. The characters are good and well defined as well.

I admit when I first saw this game, I didn't have high hopes for this game. I was pleasantly surprised with this game. Albeit, some of the bosses had me tearing my hair out in frustration. Huge levels of HP and powerful damaging attacks.

Add in all the multiple endings to it, and it's a above average RPG. Next week I'm getting a Nel Zelpher figure... heh, I admit she's my fav character.

To everyone who is after a good RPG, I whole heartedly recommend this one.

I got the game, and beat about 2 weeks ago. I did'nt like the plot twist in it but other than that it's a good game ,but I liked the second one better because the story was at least a little farfecthed and the bosses were harder in that one (especially Indalecio and Cyril).

The game is awesome. I'm at the Shrine of Kaddan in Disc 1.

I liked Til the End of Time, but I enjoyed The Second Story a lot more. My first CD skips somewhere along the line, otherwise I'd be playing it again ;( I need to get a disc cleaner.

What d any of u who have played it think is the strongest squad. Mine if Fayt, Cliff and Albel. I dont think there is a stonger squad but i havent leveled up any of the later characters to see what they r like( Maria etc)

Nel is useful. She is lvl. 30 for me.

I have to agree with you, Second Story is better.

My favourite trio would have to be : Fayt, Nel and either Cliff or Mirage. Why the last two? because they both have the same sort of moves and both pack a big punch.

In regards to Star Ocean 2nd Story... I still stand by what I said before. I'm not saying I didn't enjoy 2nd story, but it felt as if something was missing when I played it. In turn, after finishing it I just packed it away (As of this moment, it's sitting at the bottom of my PSX game pile, all coated with dust. All of them are unfortunately.) and haven't played it since.

I'll probably go back and play it again one day, but right now, I'm trying to get some of the other endings in SO3 Til the end of time.

btw, what's the highest level everyone here has gotten their characters? I only ask this, because a friend of mine who has played SO3 repeatedly to death, said the levelling up levels didn't stop at level 100, but stopped at 255. At first I didn't believe him, but considering my current levels :

Nel - 145
Cliff - 146
Sophia - 99
Maria - 84
Albel - 67
Peppita - 24
Roger - 45
Mirage -108
Adray - 127

I think he may be right. Don't ask me how long it took me to build them up to those levels... Let's just say... AGES and leave it at that, yes?

I'm stuck in the Ruins of Barr...I really can't beat that robin hood lookalike any tips? He just wipes me out with this massive attack and then he is too fast for me if i do manage to avoid it..

I had a lot of trouble with him too. Tell 2 of your characters to do nothing and keep them away from the brat. Take him down with 1 character. When your person dies u got the 2 too quickly bring him/her back.

Hm, I liked it, but everytime I went to my PS2 to play it, I couldn't.
It isn't boring, but its just lacking that special spark that keeps me interested.

I really wasn't fond of SO:3's story, but like in Star Ocean 2, the battle system kept me hooked. Can't get enough of it.

I would not have restarted my game again if I have never lost my file. Because Sony sent me a flawed disc and erased all of my data in the two of my memory cards. I almost collected all of the battle trophies: 254 of them, then I have all of the inventors, characters: Fayt: lvl-167, Nel: lvl-153, Albel: lvl-152: Cliff: lvl-131, Sophia: lvl-147, Mirage: lvl-136, Adray: lvl-122, Peppita: never accepted her and so is that Roger.

I love Star Ocean: Till the End of Time. It has a great story, interesting characters, superior graphics, and a awesome battle system. My only compaint is the music in this Action/RPG, it's aweful.
