Well the new F-Zero GX has been released few week ago and I got the sound folder with the permission of AnonRunzes from the HCS forum but the format is not playable on foobar it a ogl file and he guess that they contain the Ogg Vorbis data (in fact, he has examined the file through an hex editor), but it impossible to extract on vgmtoolbox.

Help anybody, anyone...?

Thank for the help !

I hope you figure it out. I've been searching for a rip of this OST since I bought the game.

Unfortunately I can't help with converting the files, but I'm definitely interested in this if anyone else is up to the task. The game has really great music.

Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, et cetera (albeit belated).

Can't help you with those files, but I can mark this (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3raZthBTzUg&list=PLyob_5iB1lWkT-8ZR1IdzDqzAoIrjBMJi)...

That much is indeed true; however, I do believe this playlist (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3raZthBTzUg&list=PLyob_5iB1lWkT-8ZR1IdzDqzAoIrjBMJi) should help sate the hunger in the interim.

You know that posting a playlist is making people more irritated...but let's not make fake hope...we should try to find a solution about that even it will take a years...

"but let's not make fake hope"...?

Well when someone post a message about our request we are very exciting to see the answer except in this case...

Further application of Google-fu turned up this page (http://www.smashcustommusic.com/game/3352). While the actual downloads seem to be something called BRSTM files, there is a site player which plays the tracks in MP3 form (albeit in a less than ideal bitrate).

Hovering over the track names provides a URL in the form of "www.smashcustommusic.com/x" (with x being a five-digit number). The corresponding MP3 is "www.smashcustommusic.com/music/mp3/x.mp3".

While this does not include the 'HERO!' and 'Credits' tracks found in the playlist referenced above, a pair of unused tracks ('Menu 2' and 'Hibashira Plains') did find their way in (reference (https://www.youtube.com/user/CosmoCortney/videos)).

Not sure if this helps, but those OGL files have the same data in them up through hex address 0x1080. At 0x1090 is where the data becomes different.

I'm not very adept at using the Advanced Cutter function in VGMToolbox, but people more familiar with it might be able to use this information to point you in the right direction.
