Wow, that was fast! Thanks very much. A lot of music and not a lot of time to give it a proper listen yet, but my favorite is shaping up to be Leith Steven's Scarlet Hour. It's everything that a noir soundtrack should be, exciting and dramatic, doomed and dangerous. Really makes me want to see the film, even though the reviews are not that good. I think the only other Steven's I've heard are some Irwin Allen and the second season of The Outer Limits, which after Dominic Frontiere was a pretty tough act to follow. Must track down more of him. A darn good set. Really appreciate the opportunity to listen to it, and your time and trouble. Many thumbs up! Have a Great New Year!

What a terrific idea to have compiled so many composers from the Golden Age who have lent their talents to this great genre of “Film Noir”! There are some unknowns (for me at least) like Gail Kubik that I would love to discover. Tremendous share as always, turner6! PM sent.

I do agree with Woody Allen and I think this is a superb noir film directed by Billy Wilder (Sunet Boulevard, The Seven Year Itch, ...). The actors, Barbara Stanwyck, Fred MacMurray and Edward G. Robinson delivered a magnificent performance IMHO.
