I don't agree with you, McNeely and Kiner they're good, but Desplat doesn't have talent at all. I see that you like Satriani, it's like him, no matter what he does in all the years to come, he will never be like Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Jimmy Page, B.B. King, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Gary Moore, etc. The real Guitar Gods, he will never be in their league, for me he is just a mediocre guy, same thing with Desplat.

Disney should have chosen Joel McNeely for Rogue One. Just imagine what he could have done with a full orchestra like Giacchino was given?

Sorry to go a wee bit off topic here, but: is it just me, or does John Williams heavily quote McNeely's "Into the Sewers" in his "Chamber of Secrets" theme?! Noticed it last night, and the primary ostinato is kinda stunningly similar.

Also, could I snag a .flac copy? My ancient 128kbps copy makes me sad.
