Not sure to post this here or in the gaming forum, but are there any questria players here? I'm Amanda Sedai.

(questria's an online version of Triple Triad, in case you were wondering.)

It's website is www.iquestria.com or www.questriax.com (second one is newer but last time I checked it had gone offline). You can download the program there. (although the download server may be down right now. I know the forums are down.)

It's really cool because people, obviously, are a lot better at playing TT than the AIs in FFVIII. And they use new cards in addition to the FFVIII cards, designed to look like characters from other games and anime. Because "card mod" isn't applicable there, they make up for it by using something called "fusion" where certain cards can be combined to create better cards.

Let me know if any of you join. It'd be cool to have a "ffshrine" team there. :)

sign up to www.tripletriadx.com

You can also go to the iquestria site via my home page (click below on home)

Do you have to pay a monthly fee or n-e thing to play?

Nope, it's entirely paid for by ads. There are banners above and below the main screen and a banner below the game when you play Triple Triad. They refresh every few seconds and when they do, you get a "SP" (which I think stands for "sponser point"). Once your computer has displayed 1500 ads, you can exchange your SP for a token that lets you play a "treasure hunt" game where you get a random amount of GP or a card.

You can also donate money to Questria, and IIRC they'll give you something that allows you to get cards at discount rates, but it's not mandatory or anything.

This does need to go in the gaming section so I'm putting it there. This has nothing to do with FF8. I am now moving this thread...
