I understand its a perfect place to level up right?

The forest around it is good, not as good as northen cave, but if you've just reached Mideel, then yeah, it's great

I like leveling up in Mideel, but not at the jungle, I stay outside of it. It goes quicker because I won't get these annoying monsters who slow me down. ;)

A better place is the sunken ship, and of course, later on it will be the nordern crater. :)

I found the best place to train in the game was the sunken plane with monsters giving 3000exp and 10,000gil =)

Although you can do some serios leveling at junon at 1 bit of the game.
Once excaping the gold soucers desert go to Junon and in the corridor with the switch on the wall (the T junction bit) an alarm will sound and you can get easyish battles giving you 4000exp which is a huge amount for this bit of the game, i leveled loads here. =)

I am currently at level 49 with Cloud at the Underwater reactor..

Play on...doing Lvl 49 there is piss easy with only decent materia/weapon combos.

Dude, the whole game is piss easy. But no you are not under leveled. Unless you are an extremist...

I think the best place to level up is at the secret Shinra plane crash thing. *It looks like a lab inside or something* but i wouldn't suggest you go there at level 49...its a pretty tough place.

But the stuff you get there is great, but dd is right. Don't go there till you are around level 60 or so...

I beat Emerald weapon when I was lvl 55. So go there right now and test your skills. Just save. A LOT.

I go to Mideel to level materia. Once you get the Apocolypse it's the best place to level materia because you're getting massive AP with almost no risk at all of dying.
