"Never Expire" for the "pro" version FOREVER! ALL TIME!!

I grabbed this the first time it came around. Love it and use it all the time.
Only caveat: (as with MOST decryption software: ) need online access.
MakeMKV is really the only thing that doesn't require online access for decryption.
But it does require you to remux the entire movie. That can take anywhere from 15-45 GB in size.

They're doing it again for American Thanksgiving.
Until Dec. 7 2015.

Free Passkey Pro. Or whatever.
Lifetime Pro! Or whatever.
"Never expire" is what you will see when you launch DVDFab Passkey.

I love this so much.
It's free!!! For Pro version!!!
Full forum support!
Newest movie support! (provided they have the disc, too; like any other dercryption program)

DVDFab Passkey does not alter any data of the movie.
Audio and video are the same when decrypted.
Only thing that matters is if you use eac3to (http://www.videohelp.com/software/eac3to) to transcode (which matters a lot).

It works the same as Slysoft's AnyDVD.
Which one decrypts newest movies first? Entirely depends on the legitmate community first. Like with Anti-virus.
Only smart people make smart things work smartly. :smrt:

It's better than MakeMKV since you can decrypt the disc drive and not have to remux the entire movie first. :smrt:

When I first grabbed it, I was able to decrypt discs for any movie I had that was new at the time.

Absolutely no alterations in video and audio formats!
Just plain decryption.
After that, use eac3to or ffmpeg to transcode certain aduio streams.
Or do just a plain remux.

Save hundreds of dollars.
H264/H265 encoders are free.
So are AC3/AAC encoders.

Only use All-In-One suites from DVDFab (paid) if you have no idea what to do.

There's a few here that do editing with bluray.
This really is something you don't want to pass up.

If you happen to use a Hotmail address, you can easily create an account for their forums and inform the admin/mod for the section designated for the DVDFab Passkey.

I had this issue.
On weekends, you have to wait for the first business day.

Don't miss out!
MakeMKV is only free while in BETA. Sooner or later, it will leave Alpha/Beta and require a paid license!

I don't have a BD/DVD reader for my laptop yet (sadly) but in that case since it's free I'll grab it for when I have it.

Yes.

It'll be good to have it and not need than it will to not have it and not need it.

It's free and it looks good, I won't regret it when I need it, even if that takes a few months. :P

Thank you for the heads-up!

I was getting so sick of having to rip films in toto through MakeMKV to just get the audio.

But how can you get the audio with this program? What does it do? It just rips the disc completely.

Like, transferring all the BDMV onto your HDD

The Passkey 'patches' the disc so that the copyright protection is 'removed' so far as DVD-ripping software is concerned. Then, because there's no protection, I can simply use eac3to to grab the audio. :smrt:

Whereas before I had to rely on MakeMKV to grab the ENTIRE video track, and then extract the audio... that was always annoying. But never again!

Once again all it does it's pass the full BDMV to your HDD, isn't it as much tiring as with Makemkv?

It is a Passkey. A key that unlocks the copyright protection, making the disc nothing more than another folder with files. Any passing of the full BD to my hard drive would be done by another program.

In this case I intend to use eac3to to extract the audio from discs, whereas before I had to use MakeMKV to grab the ENTIRE video+audio because it was the only program I had that could rip audio correctly from discs.

Should I replace MakeMKV with this program, Sparktank?

Yes, definitely.

You can copy the whole bluray, if you want.

But with this, you can use MKVtoolnix to copy just a portion of the movie, if you use the right playlist.

As Skeleton pointed out, you can do much more with it.
Using eac3to directly from disc without copying to the HDD or SSD is very beneficial.

With this, you're able to browse the entire disc without hassle.

MKVtoolnix, eac3to and even just playing the movie should not have any problems using this.
