Well, im just about to finish FFIV, which marks the last of the classics i havent beat(besides 3 in japan).

I have a large list of games to start next, tell me which one i should start and why please:

I think you should play Star Ocean 2 as well, that game is a clasic IMO.

I will not give you an answer because Blood Omen is not on the list.

Final Fantasy Tactics or Star Ocean Second Story definitely...

i narrowed down the list for ya, it should be easy to choose from this:

2. some other random RPG

It is truly a masterpiece, one of the greatest RPG's of all time. The story is very powerful and you will become attached to the characters more than FFVIII, IX, VI, V, IV, Secret of Mana, and all other games on that list.

I have played 95% of the games on that list and Xenogears was at the top of the list. PLay it first, the story is so much more intence than FF8.

Well, i beat secret of mana last week and im continuiing with ff8, i did consider xenogears though, ive also got xenosaga to play too......what do you think of xenosaga?

too many cutscenes, the game isn't nearly as good as Xenogears IMO.

But the new Xenosaga series will explain the events in Xenogears. Xenogears is suppose to be like the 5th game in the series, which the xenosagas are being made to take place before.

So it wouldnt really matter which one i played first then?

You really should play all the final fantasy titles (especially tactics) and then i would reccomend Legend of Dragoon or Vagrant Story. Sorry can't comment on Xenosaga because i havent played it yet.

I'm currently playing 8, thats the last one of 1-9, and i heard legend of dragoon was "ok".

Yea LoD didnt receive exceptional praise. But i liked it. The addition system is fun to play and although the plot may seem a bit tedious at the start, it gets much better. It has FF8-ish type graphics, and one of the best plot twists I have ever experienced (you guys who have played will know what I am talking about). But ultimately its a love/hate sort of affair, so you're going to have to determine for yourself. happy gaming.

Breath of Fire 4. C'mon Fou-Lu is the greatest game bad guy ever. And you get to play as him too. And it's a very diverse RPG game too.

Chrono Cross is a good RPG to play. The story can get confusing if you haven�t played Chrono Trigger but it�s still a good game by itself.

Heheh, of course i've beat chrono trigger.

Play FFVIII and then LoD. Two of my all time favourites, right there.
