Hello all! In my music listening career (so to speak), I have heard many songs that can give me goosebumps, or that quivering hot-cold wave that seems to melt over you. I've read about this interesting mechanism and that music can cause it in many people. Typically it can occur from not expecting what comes next, or the tension. But there are some songs that give me this phenomenal feeling after many repeated listens. Turning the volume up to max typically aids in the experience.
So what music continues to give you goosebumps after hearing it many times? Can be a film/TV/game score or mainstream music. There are a couple mainstream songs that affect me in this way, and I'll do my best to list all of my songs here.
Keep in mind that almost always the volume must be max or near-max for me to properly enjoy the song and the feelings it produces. Let me know yours and if we share any! :D
