I would have suggest SuprNova, but they have closed down. You could try

Ever heard of paying for things? :(

Exactly. Nobuo Uematsu deserves to get royalties for the beautiful music he composes, so why deny him of it by simply downloading his hard work? (gets down of soapbox).

Incidentally, the official Japanese FFVII OST album (all four CDs of it) can be bought easily enough online (I've dealt with Game Music.com myself at www.gamemusic.com but there are many others.). Just be careful what you're getting is the legitimate OST from Japan (the official FFVII soundtrack album was released by Digicube), and not a dodgy Taiwanese bootleg (such as anything with Ever Anime, Son My, Smile International, and others), as they're not worth the CD-R they're printed on.

Not having the money to buy something is no excuse for theft. :(

Being legitimate is good but one has gotta admit that the FF music tends to be on the expensive side of things...I couldn't believe the prices when I went to HMV and saw them. (FF7 was not in stock but the newer OSTs were).

My sister has quite a few Taiwanese stuff...they seem to work perfectly.

Or...of course the wonders of Torrent, and the pleasures of RIAA hax0red music.

I got the FF 7 OST from http://files.filefront.com/

ok, downloading music IS theft... but not everybody can be blamed for it... I am in a similar situation... ok, I bought my copy from E-bay... but it's not that easy for some people. My friend could not get his copy anywhere, so he downloaded it. It's just the same as burning a CD with your own music files if you own it... *I think*. So would it be too bad if I copied mine for him? I'm not sure... it is innocent...
