The criminally underrated Hummie Mann seems to have flown under the radar for most of his career, and hasn't scored a feature-length film since 2004, although he's done some orchestrating since. Only a handful of his scores (Robin Hood: Men in Tights, Year of the Comet, Sticks and Stones, and Thomas and the Magic Railroad) received album releases, and the promos for PT Barnum and In Cold Blood are very hard to find. Fortunately, Mann keeps a number of suites, mainly from unreleased scores, up as promos on his website, and I thought I'd collect them here in one place. Unfortunately, they're rather low-fi mp3s, but, hey, I'll take what I can get, and look forward to his return to the silver screen with the upcoming Vincent the Artist.

Wow! I thought I was the only one who thought Hummie Mann was a criminally overlooked composer! Been a big fan ever since DRACULA, DEAD AND LOVING IT!
