Decent action in them. Okay writing. But really just cult-classics before they actually become cult-classics.

Hansel & Gretel I liked. Season of the Witch not so much. But this film fell into the shut-up-and-take-my-money category with the image of Vin with flaming-bad-ass-sword.

I got a spin trough Spotify, i liked it, better than Gangster Squad or Pain & Gain, is a good gothic action score, great dark theme for The Witch Queen

The Last Witch Hunter:

A Short Review:

Kalder, James Kalder. Witch Hunter.

Vin gets his Bond on as a Witch Hunter for the Vatican: stylish clothes, apartment on 5th Avenue and killer car. Not a dud, but not a stud either the movie moves at the brisk pace, with a script that avoids the SyFy network silliness with a couple of decent twists, wisely flanking Vin with a very good supporting cast and effects that mix practical and CGI.

However, the movies' brevity, about 110 mins, doesn't give the movie the breaking space it needs to become something more than a decent matinee film, the script misses opportunities to flesh out the characters and the history of the conflict between Church and Witches and Vin is mostly a Sheriff keeping a long established peace as opposed to cracking a lot of skulls.

As franchise starters go, this one is probably a no-go unless the overseas markets' save it.

Not gonna lie! the whole time I was watching this movie in the theater I was thinking hmmm there are some really good themes here. Just because of that I shall give this entire score a proper listen. Hope Steve doesn't disappoint for the first time ever. My friend lovessss his Transformers scores though lol -_-
