Many thanks for your very fine transfer - it has never sounded this good :-) My only grudge with the issued soundtrack LP is that the cues are quite short. It is a pity that RRB wasn't allowed to expand the score as he did with Lady Caroline Lamb and Far From the Madding Crowd. Nevertheless - a great sounding score from a superb British composer.
Interestingly when I was at grammar school in the UK, we had an elderly visiting Russian tutor for a term (can't remember what year - but it was 50 years plus!) who told us that he had actually seen Rasputin in the Yar restaurant in Moscow, where he was working as a student, prior to the later assassination in 1916!

Beautiful;...The way it should be! As a semi-pro with editing, etc. my hat is off to you sir.
