Final Fantasy 8, without a doubt.

Most of the things on that soundtrack > One Winged Angel

I don't remember 8's well enough to have an informed opinion. I've never actually disliked very much of the music in a Final Fantasy game, and I usually love almost all of it, but I do know that 8 introduced the "really stupid song that's sung by a female vocalist" necessisity. =\

Yes, that's a good song. I'm deciding which to get online, and I want to know what everyone else thinks first.

I would say FF7, but that might be due to the fact that FF7 was the first Final Fantasy I ever got and I've completed it over 20 times, and I've only completed FF8 the once.

Call me sad, but one night when I was taken home I started humming the Deling City tune. It just seemed appropriate. Umm, yeah...

I find that nearly all Final Fantasy music is memorable. But the music that most sticks in my mind has to be Final Fantasy VIII's. Even after 3 years of play I can probably remember the whole of Disc 1's songs, without even putting much thought in to it.

So, if I had to chose one, it would be Final Fantasy VIII's, because of the memory factor & the memory factor only.

I think 8 has excellent music, but I think 7 has more songs that I enjoy, than 8 does.

7 was the best, overall, definately. 8 was very good, too, I enjoyed it, but FF7 was better in my opinion.

Kinda hard to say. I like the FF-VII music a lot, but there are also a lot of good pieces on FF-VIII. ;)

Edna: Like Aerith said, it's hard to single out one of them as the best.

Zulu: FFVII had Aeris' Theme and FFVIII had Eyes On Me.

That's a stupid question. FF8 by far...!

I can't remember music tucking me in better with a game than FF VII's did. It did a lot to make me feel like I was in FFVII's world.
