I'm carrying all the letters of the mogs from the one to the other place. Sometimes I get a nut for it, but also new letters. They keep talking about the net isn't working because this one moogle is gone, and nobody knows anything about it. And they say nobody knows where the central office is.

They keep talking in riddles, and I don't know where this ends. Where do I have to go to now. I just past Terra and I'm back in Gaia now. They still give me new letters. Where is this central office? Does it exist? :eye:

The Central Office has to do with the mountain cracks in the Chocobo subquest. Based on what you said in the other thread, it seems like you may not have discovered the mountain cracks yet. Am I right?


P.S.: I'm afraid you may have made things a bit more difficult on yourself if you've already done Terra, because now everything is covered in Mist again, making it hard to figure things out.

Ok, no I haven't done the mountain cracks yet. Just the regular treasures. I know, everything is covered with mist now. But can I still get them? I mean, there are some places I can't go anymore, even at some mountains.... :(

I think it'll still let you get everything, even though some places are now messed up. It's just a lot harder because it's troublesome trying to figure out where you are with the Mist.

You have to complete the moogle sidequest befor eyou go to Terra. You'll notice that there's a lot of things that are now off limits, you can't get to. The stops you from going to all of the different moogles and you have to tlak ot about half of them to find out what has happened.

The thing is that Armtican(sp?) has used the oil that was used to oil the gears in the sorting machine on his coat because it makes his coat shiny. This means that the sorting machine is broken and you have to find who has a some of the oil. You can't talk to all the moogles to find it if you have gone through to Terra.

Not true! You can too complete Mognet Central on Disc 4, so long as you made sure to keep up with taking care of the letters in Terra. In fact, I'm not sure it's even possible to complete Mognet Central on Disc 3, since you haven't delivered all the letters yet.

Well, I think, there must be a way to complete the moogle quest on disc 4 because even after you come back from Terra you still get letters. I mean, how can I complete the quest before I finished bringing the letters to the moogles?

Yeah, what you're saying makes perfect sense and is absolutely right, because the only time I myself have ever completed Mognet Central is on Disc 4. Ah well, just stay the course in your next playthrough and make sure to get each and every letter delivered.

Can I find the Mognet Central even if I didn't get one letter?

I'm always asking the mogs for letters. Acually I ask them about x times, and they usually give me new letters. But when I came to Alexandria again, I met the traveling mog and he told me, I missed one letter. I don't have a clue where I missed it though. But this always happens to me....

Can I still go to the Mognet Central, or did I mess it up? :(

Hmm, I've never really tried it before. But try starting the quest anyway and see if you can get it to get going.

Yes, I do continue. But when can I usually go there? After I finished all the letters? That would be after Terra then. Or can I go there earlier on the game? I'm on the third disc now. :confused:

I managed to complete mognet central but i only deleivered 3 letters...

With your chocobo fly to a solitary Island in the north east of the world, use a dead pepper on the crack and you should be in Mognet central, now you should be able to help the mogs out :-D

Right now, I'm at the point where every moogle tells me they get no letters anymore...

Iirc you can go their as soon as you have a flying chocobo and a couple of Dead Peppers ;)

Ok, I finally found the treasures in the mountain cracks yet. But where is the mog net? Is it in one of the cracks?

BTW: Yes, I think you can get the treasures in the cracks after Terra, too. I was looking on the wrong places when I tried it the last time. I thought, the cracks were underneath the roots. The actuall cracks are very small and a bit hard to find if you don't know about these places.

I found 3 of them. Are there more than that?

I think there are five cracks in total. 3 treasure 1 for Chocobo's paradise and 1 for Mognet,

Mognet is on an island north of Kuja's desert palace

I found the mognet central last night. But it is not much there, and nothing I can do there. They keep telling me that the machine is not working. They say, they need something to make it running again. :confused:

What are they talking about? I'd say they talk about some kind of oil (because machine), but I don't have a clue. :eye:

You need an item called superslick, It's another side quest, just talk to the moogles that you've met before and one of them will start you off :-D I think its Kupo ( at Alexandria)

So, after I visited the mognet central I have to start walking around, talking to all the Moogles who are still there, and one of them gives me informations about it? Do they give me informations where I can get this item? :eye:

Because so far, no one says anything. They keep saying the same crap (that they get no letters anymore and such).... :(

Once you've found out about the problem, Kupo should give you some information and a letter, deliver this letter to find out more information and get another letter, I don't think you have to deliver too many letters to find out who has the superslick ;)

Well, I started the mog sidequest yesterday. I always got the letter from Kupo, but I never found the mog I had to go to after Kupo (never cared that much actually). I have never seen the mognet central before, so I never finished delivering the letters. :rolleyes:

The informations they give me are a bit lame right now, but I'm on the way getting it...

One thing is sure, if you don't know about the extra item you need, you can't start and finish this sidequest on disc 3. Maybe you can't do it either, if you know about it...don't know.

But Kupo gave me the first letter to this sidequest right after I came back from Terra. And that is on disc 4. ;)

Sorry for reviving the thread but I have some q about the central too.

After I return to Gaia(all mist covered)I deliver the letters I've been given.But then a mog gives me a letter for Mois(Rude Mog inside the Ice Cavern)The Cavern is sealed and I can't go in.What's with that?

You know, you can always start a new thread if you have a question about a topic covered in an existing but ancient thread.

Mois is no longer at the Ice Cavern, because, yeah, it's sealed up. If I remember correctly, if you go to Qu's Marsh with Quina in your party, and follow the path, you'll find him outside the entrance to Fossil Roo.
