well, hopefully im going to go get a PS2 very soon and get GTA3. I mean I think its one of the best games out of PS2 games. I love the bumbin in the car with the prostotute part. LOL, thats the best. Anyways... What you guys think of GTA3?

Your not getting a PS2 jsut for GTA3 are you?
Because it's coming out on PC this year, rumours are that it may have an online feature added too (As did GTA2 PC). The graphics would be far better too.

Undoubtedly, GTA3 is an excellent game. hell, i got a ps2 just for it, MGS2 and FFX ;) so i'd advise you to buy one for it. besides, who wants to wait ofr the PC version? =/

Yea damn, GTA3 is such a fun game, you dont even have to play the missions to have fun, also with PS2 you need to get FFX+, Metal Gear Solid 2 (yes i played a demo and it ROCKS) Gran Turismo 3 is also worth a look.

Try telling that to my roommate. He and I got it (or I got it is more like it, he just plays it more) about 5 days ago...we haven't stopped playing it since. Thing is he doesn't stop bitching at me because I hardly ever do missions, and when I do he still pisses and moans because I'm not working on the ones HE needs to get done (we each have our own saved game in it). Oh well, still one of the more fun games I've played in a while.

Tiss a great game. Too bad right now it's been taken off the market since some mothers kicked up and complained about it.. I'll have to wait until they re-release it. If it's the toned down version or just a higher rating.. We'll have to see.

Just a notice to any Aussie gamers waiting for GTA3: it will be re-released on the 12th of February. According to my sources the part where you invite a hooker into your car, then after the deed you beat her up with a baseball bat to get your money back is the only part that is taken out.

It's probly only something you'd watch a few times anyways if you looked around I'm sure someone would have a video for download if you want to see it that much.

I know I'll be getting my copy now...I should have gotten one before the ban so I didnt have this long wait. Ho hum.

I visited www.3dactionplanet.com/gta and found out that all the 'toned down' version is all a bunch of rumours. That came staright from Rockstar games (or whoever...) them selves.
Maybe the prostitute thing may be taken out though.

"First off, I just want to let you know that the rumors of GTA being pulled are unfounded. Rockstar has emailled several sites explaining that these (they've been going on for months now) are just nasty rumors used to drive up prices on EBay. There have been multiple confirmations that these are rumors and just people pulling stuff out of their ass. GTA 4 according to Rockstar is not under development at the moment. The PC version's the thing. X-Box version apparently is not under development at the moment either. The rumors of multiplayer are just that. I haven't heard about the cannonball run mode but maybe someone was commenting on the Cannonball run of GTA1 Multiplayer." -

GTA III is an amazing game, by far the best game for the PS2.

In that case i might have get me a copy of this.

Although the original GTA3 was banned in Australia because it waz to violent or they didnt like the hookers or something. A new extra censored version should come out soon

i dont play the missions to have fun i like to kill people and run around blowing cars up and after all that i run from the cops of course i do this in a huge bus which never blows up:p

It's a great game and all, but it would suck without the cheats. Beating up people is fun (especially on drugs), but it's more fun to snipe people from the rooftops and blow up cars and police helicopters and stuff. Having to look for weapons would suck. Missions, bah! The most fun is stealing cars and shooting people for fun.
That may sound sick, shooting people for fun, but it is (fun).

is gta 3 comin out on the pc

the riots are pure fun when u use those cheats for the civillains to shoot u with rockets lol

GTA 3 is a sweet game. Its fun everytime you play it, iT challenging, and has a really high replay value. Its one of my fav games for PS2 right now.

A marvolous game. Almost flawless, of course it can't be flawless though as we all know that games ahve their weak points. However they're hard to find in GTA3, it has incredible graphics, an interesting plot and outstanding modelling. A stroke of genius.

GTA 3 Is cool I like to just run around and try to get as must Wanted level at much and then hi-jack the cars but sometimes i just go around shooting ppl and ramping which is ez money

Well i know a few ways of doing that. You just go in areas that provide a different camera angle such as your car park at your save point or any AmmuNation store. Then you can shoot anyone through the door and they can't see you.
