Not to rain on your parade but I seem to remember it being nothing new on this (I have the CDs myself), just the OST release combined with the lossy "Itunes Bonus Disc".

I love Newman's score for Skyfall. It definitely has themes, maybe Kobayashi-Maru just can't hear them. Hell, even "Skyfall" itself can be heard in the score, just like "You Know My Name" can be heard in Casino Royale's score.

Everything is better than the stupid song for qauntum of solace. I eagerly await the score for spectre. But i agree that skyfalls score was excellent.

Yeah I forgot to mention that in my post. Another Way to Die wasn't featued in Quantum of Solace, thank god. I like Jack White and I got nothing against Alicia Keys, but man that was an awful song. Still not feeling Writing's On the Wall, either.

I thought Skyfall's score was great, and I loved the themes Newman created for it, but I really wish they had used the Skyfall theme more than once (unless it's used in places where I haven't noticed, but I've listened to it a lot so I'd think I would have by now). It seemed like such a waste of such a good theme to use it so sparingly. I really hope Spectre's score uses the title theme more.

I think he's likely to come back, since Newman came in because of Sam Mendes. I'm not sure he'd like to score numerous other Bond films after Spectre with other directors.

I personally think that Skyfall is a triumph :) Unfortunately, Newman (as well as Sam Mendes and the screenwriters) didn't make an equally good work for Spectre.
