Here are remastered files of 3 early 1950s MGM "Teen Musicals". Some of the songs are extended versions and/or outtakes but for the most part these are the familiar mixes heard on various MGM Records issues of these soundtracks, which many of us have enjoyed for years despite the crappy vinyl used. In that respect the sound has been greatly improved on the majority of the tracks and the music and vocal performances on these rare albums are wonderful. To bring this almost one hour program to full CD length I have included as a bonus track a 16 minute orchestral suite from Hugh Martin & Ralph Blane's score for the 1954 similarly youth themed "Athena", making this album 72 minutes of pure enchantment. I hope you agree.
