My latest dream revolved around the unfolding of events after falling victim to a Capgras delusion. Got bloody.

Every since I was 8, I've been trying to entertain people by making some funny gaming videos on YouTube. I watched Markiplier, my inspiration, go with the Make a Wish Foundation and helped this poor man get the equipment he needs to start out on YouTube.

What an amazing man Markiplier is. I burst into tears when I seen this man so happy that he got what he wanted, and Markiplier is such a kind person to make his wish come true. Now I just wish it could happen to me.
I upload two videos a day, each video consuming, at the least, two hours of my time to record, edit, render and upload and I get about 3 people viewing them. It makes me so happy to see people like the man in the video start up on YouTube with all the equipment he needs, etc. and I hope one day the same will happen to me.

So, what do I dream? I dream to be a successful YouTuber and would like to entertain people on dark days.

I don't know how close this is to dreaming.

But since they wake me up, I guess they count as dreaming.

For 3 straight weeks, sounds have been waking me up.

The first week:

I was watching a movie very quietly.
It's not a movie that goes suddenly loud. I know the movie and the volume.
I have no pets or anyone dicking around in my room with the equipment.
There are no viruses or anything to cause this malfunction.
But it happened.

The movie got extremely loud, to the point where it sounded like it was clipping. Distorted.

There are a lot of "What if's" and "maybe"s that could explain.
But it woke me up and scared the shit out of me.
Everything was normal and quiet when I woke up.
It was like the dial was purposely turned up just to wake me up like that.
I had the place alone that night.
I highly doubt a burgler broke in just to fuck with someone's sleep.

Week 2:

I was sleeping early in the morning and for some reason a plane must have flew right over the apartment very low.
Lower than normal.

All I heard was a really loud rumbling that got progressively louder and stronger.

I went out to the living room to look out the patio to see what condition all the neighboring apartments were.
Fine. Still. Intact.

My mom asked me what I was doing and I asked her she heard anything.
Nothing. Just her movie she was watching quietlyon TV speakers.
No trucks, no plane, nothing.

I even checked online for any minor earthquakes that might have happened in the area.
Nothing for that day. Nothing close enough over 3.x that we would feel it.

Week 3:

Just a couple days ago, I was sleeping. Everyone was asleep.
I was so tired, after cleaning and putting everything away, I was finally able to shut the light off and get to sleep.
After 15 minutes of sleeping, I woke up abruptly as I thought I heard someone call out my name.
Not conversationally loud.
More like, calling out in very low volume, but not enough to be a whisper.
More like trying to be loud with a whisper as if not to draw attention from someone or something else in the apartment.
It was low, deep and had a gutteral quality to it. Very throaty and demanding.

It was alarming as hell and startled me.

When I woke up, I lied there for a few minutes waiting to see if someone would call my name again.

For 5 minutes, nothing.
Not in the apartment outside my bedroom door, not outside on the streets.

And this wasn't street noise.
We had a drug dealer neighbor who had the same name as me, but he's since left after he drew too much attention to himself by all his junkies calling him out in the middle of the night.
When someone calls from the streets, it has a quality that makes them feel like they are far away. It's obvious.

The voice that called to me was no more than 10 feet away.
And about 6 or 7 feet tall.

If I'm not getting woken up by sounds, there's bad dreams I have that wake me up.
Or it's my mother that gets night terrors in the other room.

I have the weirdest dreams. Last night, I dreamt I was Nic Cage trying to steal the Declaration of Independence and escape from the gala. But, as usual with dreams, thinking back now nothing looked remotely like it did in the film. But I didn't notice as I was dreaming. Sean Bean was trying to steal it and shoot me, and I had a pistol too. I think Sean Bean died (lol), but I don't remember shooting him. Then I remember a scene, I think it was in a hospital, where I was no longer Nic Cage, but he was in front of me in a big translucent sack of liquid, like the clones in The Island. And the doctors cut it open, and he was saying that Ian (Sean Bean) was to blame for his injuries.

So I guess this was all a result of watching National Treasure a few years back, and then The Island recently. Both have Sean Bean.

So that was my night. How about anyone else?

... I would say that it sounds like exploding head syndrome (yes, it's really called that) but that's associated with loud bangs. Your apparent auditory hallucinations seem to be a lot more subtle in nature.

I had a dream about stealing one of the BC ferries to escape the zombie apocalypse.
It makes sense since I am landlocked on an island..

I dreamt I was on this forum, but I was in two places at once.

There was a 10bit forum and an 8bit forum, for some reason.
I was trying to post 10bit details for the 8bit forum but anyone (limited to the 8bit forum only) who read it can only understand details for 8bit.
It was really weird. And it was the last thing I dreamt before I woke up.

Had a dream about someone I haven't seen in a very long time.
It was a very pleasant dream. I miss this person very much.

I just now realized I have a lot of spectator or observational sort of dreams, like, ones where I am looking over a landscape
of sorts. Once I had a dream of a desert with giant oil plants in it, kind of strange. Of course those aren't the only sort of
dreams I have, I still have a fair amount of other types. There was one of where, I think I was in World War I, and I was
defending a hill emplacement or fort. There was this other crazy (but hilarious) dream where I was going to William Taft's
house to meet [him] but instead it was John Goodman. But it wasn't really John Goodman, it was like he was playing William Taft, like in a fashion of if in real life he played Taft in a movie. :p

Oops. I just pulled a thread out of the dirt. Oh well.

I had a dream last night of where I was in Walmart, walking around. I see Jerry Seinfeld, and he tells me he's looking for a big-box Blu-ray version of Jaws that has 9.1 surround sound.

Last night I dreamt I was attending an annual Final Fantasy Shrine meeting for real!

We were gathering in a shitty storage room between all kinds of boxes and racks. At least a handful of people was either smoking, or typing on their smartphones (probably checking the shrine for new sessions or shit).

An old TV set that was hanging up in the corner showed a Skype video call to another group of people. I had no idea why the fuck I was supposed to be there, but Sulley, who was sitting right next to me, insisted that I be part of it.

The agenda was an upcoming christmas event and small givaways for all guests, which we were discussing. It was a chatty and smokey, almost secret-service-like atmosphere with people of all ages and nationalities. Some older russian guy (who could it be?) on the small TV screen was reading something when suddenly a phone rang and at least five people were jumping from their camping chair and heading for the door.

Before I woke up I remember that I said to Sulley, how everyone is behaving like a secret agent and that I wondered what the hell I've gotten myself into.

How interesting... very interesting! No offense, but humorous, to me, in some sort of way. Who knows, perhaps at some point we will all have a meeting, be it that... urgent? Or important. :p
In your dream, the situation seems as if the Shrine has over time evolved into something more than only a forum, something of such importance to evoke that secret-service feel you described. It's strange to think about.

I myself am surprised that I've not dreamt of the Shrine, yet. With how often I'm online, it really is a surprise.

i had a dream, where i was given a choice. press the red button and kill every muslim (not arabs, islam practicioners) in the planet via smart bombs, by defacto killing every isis member and supporter on the planet, effectively ending terrorism OR not press the button and let the world go the shithole its currently head diving into. its problem: a lot of innocent people will die by collateral, since the populace cant be warned in advance for fear of the news reaching isis ears.

the amount of time it took me to decide was the same amount of time it took me to press the button: 3 seconds because i said "FUCK YEAH" first. billions called me a hero, millions called me a heartless monster. zero fucks were given as i was buttfucking my arab friend/fiance who looked a lot like jasmine in my balcony. i was also recieving love letters from very desperate women and death threaths by PC fucktards to which i replied with a shit-stained tissue paper.

Very interesting, ROKUSHO! Although I had a very different sort of dream last night. I dreamt that there was a new Guardians of the Galaxy movie at the theater, but I was too nervous to get out of the car to see it because I'm socially inept. This is not far from the truth.
