Folks...

As much as I hate to let it go, I'm selling my Elfman/Burton box set. Great collectible, but I don't have the space to display it, plus cash is tight and I could use the money.

I'm running into a bit of a snag with the USB drive that came with the set. Mine's blank, no data on it whatsoever. Having spoken directly with the designer who masterminded the box, it doesn't sound like technical problems along these lines are all that uncommon, unfortunately. I've dug all around on the forums trying to find someone who'd uploaded a disk image of the USB drive's contents. No dice. At least not anything with working links. I'd like to get that content onto my USB drive before selling the set, as I'm imagining collectors will want it included.

If anyone reading this has access to the Skeleton Key USB drive and could create and upload a disk image, please PM me. I'd be happy to trade things in exchange for the assistance. I have the rest of the set's contents extracted as AIFF files, plus a rip of the DVD, if anyone's interested.

Thanx in advance for your time - much appreciated...

Sorry if I wasn't more clear in my original posting. I'm not looking to sell the set here on the forums, I just need the USB drive contents to copy onto my skeleton drive. When I put the set up for sale (most likely on Amazon), I'd like for it to be complete. Not sure why my drive was blanked out, but I'm trying to rectify the situation before passing the set on to another collector. I'm not a regular here on the forums, but would be happy to offer up something in trade if someone has the set and the time to provide a disk image.

Thanx...

Hmmm... Actually, the problem runs a little deeper than I thought. I ran a data recovery utility on the USB drive and it pulled all the music out, plus some other data files. Seems as though they're invisible, so when I put the drive in, it shows up as blank. However, when I simply tried duplicating the entire USB drive onto my desktop (I'm on a Mac, OS X 10.10), the USB drive copy now shows an application called MUSIC BOX. I tried running it, and I got an error message saying "You can’t open the application “MUSIC BOX” because PowerPC applications are no longer supported." The YouTube video I saw about the Skeleton Key drive did seem to show the music being accessed through some type of interface, instead of just raw MP3 files. If the MP3s are only accessed by the application, it would make sense now why they'd be invisible otherwise.

Has anyone else experienced issues with this and their USB drive? I'm glad I was able to extract the mysterious disc 17 extras, but am wondering why the application's incompatible with my operating system.

For reference, the extracted disc 17 files I see are:
