Dear erich.gold,
For me North in his film scores is as remarkably great, moving and inspiring as Shostakovich is in his. North is as great as all of the 20th century composers I know and more than relish.
We both can take a deep breath as I'm requesting in a single PM four of his soundtracks --
1. A Streetcar Named Desire
2. And immediately after Desire... Desiree
3. Rich Man, Poor Man
4. And the last of his film works... The Last Butterfly.
If it can be done... I'm more than happy (even ecstatic) over how well you share things that can bring lives like mine to life again.
