The Film Music of Erich Wolfgang Korngold [1962 Stanyan DCC GoldDisc GZS-1094]

24 Karat Gold Disc released by Stanyan Records. Presented by Rod McKuen. Mastered by Steve Hoffman.

This is a compilation disc with excerpts from seven film scores by one of the greatest film music composers of the Golden Age- Erich Wolfgang Korngold. I can't find a date for this release, only the original release which was in 1962. This disc was still sealed in the factory wrap and is in perfect condition upon ripping. No covers as my scanner has been broken for some time. Being mastered by Steve Hoffman the sound quality is the best one is perhaps ever going to get from the material. I ask that if you redistribute (and by all means do so) that it is preserved lossless and that the cue and log are left intact for others. Seeing as how some people see fit to rip and store this loud and distorted, brickwall limited, sonic trash these days in FLAC, then at the very least quality music like this DESERVES the extra space of lossless!
