I personally didn't like the series. I remember buying the first 1 for PC. It was actually ok I guess but the controls was horrible. I downloaded the Demo for TR 2 and I couldn't even get out of the big hole, it was just too jumpy.

I recently found TR The Last Revelation for 7 bucks at K-mart (dreamcast version) So I figured I would give it a shot and sure enough I didn't like it either.

Is is just me or is the only challege they put in the series the jumpy ness. I mean they are a pain and I feel take away from what could have been a decent series of games. The first game wasn't too bad about it but I swear I can't play 2 or the Dremcast I just played. MAybe I just suck but I think there just too damn jumpy

I like it. I've been carried away by action games.

Try ps version...I like it personally better.

I don't think it would really matter which one I was playing. I like some Action games, I like Oni all-right cause she actually has some control. I don't like Tomb RAider cause she is so hard to control I think. I mean you press back and you jump what seems 5 foot (can't count how many times I have fallen over that). When you get to a switch you have to be lined up just right to activate it. And The main challenge of the game still seems to be how good a jumper you are. I suck at jumping so therefore I suck at Tomb Raider games, so therefore I hate them.

Can't enjoy a game that pisses me off more then it entertains me.

If Lara had the moves Konoko had from Oni Id rock at it then, I think Lara is just slightly gimped and she wont' admit it?

I hate Tomb Raider too, Lara Croft annoys the hell outta me >.<
and, even though i like action games, it was just unplayable and boring, for me. =/

It could be good, but they hardly change them.
They were all basically the same, apart from new levels, a small graphics update, new weapons and moves...that's all.
Although, I've seen some development shots of the new Lara for the next game (PS2, X-Box and PC). The model uses much, much more polygons and looks pretty good.
We'll see if it get's any better then. :D

If they would have given Lara the Controls Konoko (from the game ONI) had it would have been pretty decent games. I just hated the touchy controls she had. Like if you step back instead of slowly moving back she jumps WAY back. I can't count how many times I have died doing that. Also the levels are made WAY to jumpy. Nothing more annoying then having a bunch of jumps in a row and if you mess just 1 of them up you instantly die or fall in some water and have to start all over again. At least with Konoko she had some flexable controls and I could probably make them jumps with her.

Well at least 1 point was made. Konoko would whoop Lara anyday of the week.

I like the game its just im no good at it,I always get stuck on it.

well I liked it, thought it was good and I enjoyed playing it.
Try the PS1 version it is alot better than the PC one! :D

Its an average game thats about the best way to desribe it. The reason it stood out more than any others was because of Lara Croft and people fancied her. I can't see how you can think a computer generated character is attractive but what the hell. Three versions of it was ok but chronicles was when it went to far. The film was okay in terms of effects but the story was terrible. All I seem to remember is sumit about her blowing everything up in site. The controls are terrible The graphics are mediocre best thing linked to it was Angelina Jolie.

Well I dont know about that but i do know that there is going to be a tomb raider for the playstation two so I dont think she died

I never really liked the Tomb Raider games. I borrowed one off a friend (TR 2, if I remember correctly.) I spent a couple of hours on the first level and just lost interest with the game. The only reason it sells so well is because the main character has large tits. (Which seem to expand with each game...) Still, if this is what people look for in games, all power to them in buying it. At least with the Final Fantasy games, the gameplay gets refined and the storyline changes. If you've played one Tomb Raider game, you've played them all.

I thought the games were terrible. She wasn't even that hot, compare her to Rinoa or Garnet for expample.
The only reason they are continuing the series and films etc is because people will buy it and they will get lots of money, i doubt they are even putting effort into it cuz they know it will sell. Even after lara dies in 1 game ("Last" revelation) they bring out another one ~_~

i certainly wont be buying any of the games. Plus if vegeta doesnt like the game he isn't gonna buy it again for a different platform angel*rinoa!!!

I don't see how it would control better on a ps1 then the Dreamcast. The one I played on Dreamcast uses the cross pad for basic movement just like the ps version. I agree if it wasn't for the fact it was a chick as the main chairactor I bet more people would dislike it. Granted they are different games, but still the control is pretty much the same.

I liked the games I played. Challenging and fun, they wern't too bad at all.
