Apparently m4a and AAC are different things, but usually come together, one inside the other. Don't ask. I really don't know how this stuff works. :p

ACC is the codec, M4A is the container. Same with H.264/H.265 and MP4. H.264/H.265 is the video codec, and MP4 is the container.

That is indeed weird. Was that a pig I just saw flying past the window...?

I am sure that I can put this on hold from my local library. Let me check really quick. I'll let you guys know. I did this for the Beatrix Potter collection for James, before. :)

You mean they have this on your library and you may be willing to rip it if you can get it?
I meant the might, but they unfortunately do not. :/ Sorry.

Yeah, I like my scores in lossless or very high quality iTunes purchases. But, I can deal with mp3s for regular songs.

FLAC the data is uncompressed

Sorry to burst your bubble but:

1) the data is compressed. It's a lossless compression algorithm.
The audio is the data and it gets compressed (compared to WAV/AIF/AIFF).

It's easily comparible to WinZip, WinRAR, 7zip where the data gets compressed.
It's easily restored and 100% the same before commpression.

in some discs, there's a tiny bit audible difference of that uncompression

2) If you can hear a "tiny" bit of (especially) "audible" diffference, then it's not a "lossless" codec.
FLAC, ALAC, APE, WavPack (allows hybrid lossy/lossless) are all "lossless" compression codecs.
As in, when compressed and then decompressed (either by playing back or converting), you don't lose the data that's been compressed.

If there's audible differences, then how it's ripped from CD to lossless is a "lossy_process".
Since some ripping software can allow you to add normalization to the process. Which is audible.
Even something like Foobar2000 where you can add DSP effects and VST effects will create a "lossy_process" since it's no longer ripping a 1:1 copy (unedited, unaltered, unprocessed, etc).

That's lossless. That's compression. That's codecs.

Well, thank you for the correction, if your intention was to lighten me up and not to just fuck with me. :P

It was technical.
It brighten's my day if you learn from it.

It is the way.

... Pardon me, what do you mean? o.O Are you joking along the fact that weird things are happening? xD Haven't I mentioned lots of times I'm not a FLACophile!

Pardon me, it's just a saying where I come from. And I was joking. ;)

Now if you'd been HDlossless, that would be a different kettle of fish. I would most certainly not be joking.

You did indeed. And I'm eternally grateful. Pity this wasn't in your library. Thanks for the offer though. :)
