They don't make shows like this anymore and this has got to be the best character reveal/intro ever. Michael Giaccino done a fantastic job with the soundtrack. I remember being fifteen when this episode aired and I went back to school the next day and there were kids talking about a "weird new show on tv called LOST". My friends and I who had been fans of LOST since season one were more than happy to fill everyone in on what it was all about. I really miss those LOST talks where we'd all share ideas and theories about the island and its magical properties. I just started watching lost again (We have Netflix in our country now, f*ck yeeeaaah).
Up until season 3, I hadn't missed any episodes, but then I missed a few cos I had shit to do or something and when I came back the next week I had no idea what was happening. I didn't get to watch the season 3 finale and then I missed the first two episodes of season 4 so I decided to just stop watching altogether and wait until it comes out on DVD. So here I am, 10 years later nearing the end of Season 3 and about to start Season 4 tomorrow.
