i liked him, but alot of people i know don't, i just want to see how it turns out

I don't hate him, I found him annoying because he spoke to much in the beginning.

I have no problem with him =P

i found his constant talking and his confusement about almost everything was annoying, his most heard sentences are, 'What's a ****' and 'What's that/this?'

though, in the situation that he's in, i suppose it's only natural to be that clueless and ask the same question over and over

he's not a bad charachter.....

He's a cool character and I like him.. Only his voice (NA version) and his being talkative annoyed me. But it's tolerable :)

I like Tidus. He could get abit annoying in the beginning because he didn't know anything about Spira, but he got better.

I think he is easily one of the best FF characters.

lol he talks... ALOT and his voice can get very irritating

lol all japanese anime ppl have spikey hair (well most of them), so it's no different with the hair in the games

How could all you fagets hate tidus? he did nothing to u.. personaly i think that tidus is very cool because he has lots of courage, he's very cocky in every thing he does, and he has very cool clothes and hair DONT BE HATING

Tidus is only a character in a game, how can you hate something virtual, well anyway. I have found tidus to be very cool, his clothes are a little too fururistic for me yet, but as you guys say, he talks alot but is that a problem? Would you rather want him to be the shy type that stands in a corner and just do nothing? He is just forward, thats what he is.
Seriously if you can hate anything in something computer made I don't know what to say.
But the same thing goes for liking him too. I think that its a matter of taste. And for me, I like him. And for others, they don't like him.

I don't hate him. I mean, he's not the best character in the world, but, if you got taken from everything you knew, and were lost and confused, wouldn't you be a little whiney and curious, too? It's not his fault.

Do I hate Tidus? Hmmm... let me see....

I hate his stupid voice, always whining, and complaining (Especially about how damn hungry he is.). How he reacts towards his father, smells to me of a similar and eerily ressembling coincidence towards Shinji Ikari from Evangelion. Of course, the only main difference being, Tidus doesn't pilot a huge robot, with his mother's soul in control of.

He does have some good points, but not many. His blitz attacks are ok, but could be better. I mean, having to press the button at a certain time, to increase his damage, reminded me to much of either Squall from FFVIII, or the Dragoons, from Legend of Dragoon.

I suppose in every game, you have a character you just love to hate, in my opinion most of FFX's characters fall into this category (Except Auron, Lulu and Kimahri), but the biggest Jar Jar Binks of FFX, for me, is Tidus. Why do I say Jar Jar Binks? He's the most hated Star Wars character, representing everything bad about the story.

But that's just my opinion.

I hate Tidus, he whines and he's very annoying. Plus he's the one I would want to punch in the face if he were a real person...
