Thanks for sharing. Still undecided about seeing this in theaters. I'm not the biggest Pixar fan (I find Wall-E & Up to be very overrated, and much prefer their films from the 90s and early 00s), but I also haven't been to the theaters in a month (since Mad Max) and I want to see a film on the big screen again. The next film that I'm even remotely interested in is Terminator, and even that mostly looks like crap. This hasn't been a very good year for films so far.

Anyways, hopefully the score delivers. I've heard good things about it. Wonder which of his scores from this year will end up being my favorite. Still haven't listened to Tomorrowland or Jurassic World.

Not interested in the plot of this film so much as I am the animation. Whereas humans looked like abominations in Pixar's first ventures (I think that's why spent so much time looking at Sid's face in Toy Story :laugh:) they've really mastered the human face better than anyone else, and how to convey emotions very realistically. The dinner scene in the trailer was pure eye candy.

Solid main theme and overall very heartfelt score I agree. I did have to remove those ridiculous silly tracks, especially Track 11 and Track 13. But for the most part very nice. I don't know if I should be glad or annoyed that I am also starting to recognize some Giacchino bits that indicate a certain score is from him.

It ended up being a very entertaining film - I was a it put off by Cars 2 which I felt was a useless film (not entertaining or funny) - this one has heart and is actually funny and inventive as well as a bit of a thinker at times.
