Great, Thanks!! We gonna have the Score from Graeme Revell to soon?

If someone sends me a 5.1 mix of an episode of the show, I'll give it a shot.

Thanks. Gotham's first season was okay. Just okay. Hopefully, season two will be better. The Flash was, IMO, far, far better. Avoided the mistakes Gotham made.

I stopped watching Gotham after it was revealed that Fish Mooney and those other dudes in the basement were being kept on some sort of island. I kept thinking that the big twist would be that she was being kept in a section of Arkham Asylum... when I saw that it was just a tiny house on a tiny island, I realized that the show was absolutely going nowhere. At all.

Selina Kyle was a jerk, Barbara was an asshole, Fish was plain annoying... none of the characters were remotely interesting except for Penguin, because the actor for him is great. Best part of the show by far.

Total agreement. Now, to be fair, part of the problem was Gotham was supposed to be 15 episodes but Fox ordered an additional seven and that probably played hell with the show's pacing. Characters appeared and then disappeared for weeks or returned not all at: Harvey Dent for one, and Bullock's girlfriend for another.

However, there were numerous problems besides pacing that hurt the show: Fish Mooney was entirely irrelevant to the Gotham's trajectory. Remove her and not much changes. (The show should have focused on the turf war between Marone and Falcone for the season.) Plus, Pinkett overplayed her character into eye rolling territory. Edward Nygma's and Barbara Keene's descent into madness was rushed and cliched. The Riddler is crazy like a fox. He's obsessed with riddles and puzzles and proving he's the smartest guy in the room but he's not psychotic. And Barbara, it felt like the writers were struggling to find reasons to keep her around.

MacKenzie, Logue, Baccarin, Pertwee and Taylor as Gordon, Bullock, Thompkins, Pennyworth and Cobblepot did a fine job with their characters even when the writing was not so great. And I also agree, Taylor as Penguin made the show.

The Flash suffered from none of those issues and was pretty much pitch perfect. It distinguished itself from Arrow by correctly realizing Barry is not Oliver and The Flash is a hero of hope and inspiration while The Arrow is one of vengeance. (CW's version of the difference between Superman and Batman.) Everyone is spot on as the live action version of the comic book characters and props go out to show runners not forgetting the 90's version of The Flash and bringing in Shipp, Pays and, of course, Hamill in substantial roles.

But since a hero is defined by his or her villains The Flash really got it right with the casting of Miller and Purcell as Cold and Heatwave. (That could have degenerated into stunt casting but those two really lived their characters.) And Cavanagh as Wells/Reverse Flash made for a truly epic villain.

Plus the finale to The Flash had both heart wrenching moments - Barry gets to say goodbye to his Mom - and pure comic book moments - The Flash coming through the time window in full hero mode and Eddie's sacrifice. (And the appearance of Jay Garrick's Mercury helmet and Well's comment upon seeing it - "time for me to go" - brought out my inner geek.) And since there's never any rest for the heroic, Barry has to stop a black hole from swallowing Central City.

Gotham we get a fireplace opening to reveal not so much.

Gotham I'll give another chance but my patience with it is limited. The Flash is on my can't-wait-until-it-returns list.

Well said. The flash out does gotham by 100% although i still lived penguin in gotham i was more happy to watch the reverse flash take the flash. Another good casting choice in my opinion for the flash was victor garber as dr stein.

I've been a Garber fan since Titanic. The Flash did a good job with establishing both heroes and villains. A nice touch was Barry's coma, it gave time for the villains to master their powers while Barry had to play catch up, so to speak. As a science geek I liked that scientists like Caitlin, Cisco, Palmer and yes, even Wells, often save the day.

Yes very true. Even tho wells cheated with 136 extra years of knowlage lol

And i loved garber in titanic his expretion when he said how long before titanic would sink.
