Poof! Just like that, it's gone.

Too many people seem to think they're entitled to a free, super-fast, download of a high-res rip, from whatever provider they think is "the best".

I'm providing this music at no cost to you - in 3 different resolutions, no less - via the provider that works the best *for me*, and people still aren't happy.

Due to the incessant whining in the comments and via PM, a few here have ruined it for everyone.

Go find this music, in this quality, somewhere else. Your loss.

Thanks for the upload. But I bet 99% of people on this forum don't have Filefactory premium account..

Please upload the 24bit 192kHz version to Mega.co.nz!
That's the only thing we can use for free.

Sorry, it's not happening. No Mega for me. Downloads never finish. I've tried it countless times in multiple browsers.

The trick to FF is getting the files before the data pack runs out. It gets refreshed on the first of every month. Free users get premium speeds till the data pack runs out. Today's only the 2nd. The files just went up. Go get 'em....

I'm trying to get the 24bit 192kHz copy. It says It will take 2 hours each part. After that it requires more waiting time before start downloading again.
It will take more than two weeks to download in this manner.

Good things come to those who wait. What's your hurry? I spent six weeks on this rip...

Would you prefer I do a half assed job on the rip just so you can get it sooner? If you're in such a hurry, grab the 16/44 files or go somewhere else and grab a crappy empty3 version.

Quality or quantity. You can't have both.

This is a nice post but I question your method of delivery. It's going to take me 26+ hours to download this from File Factory (with no way to automate it via a download manager).

In the future I hope you consider using fast free file hosting sites like Mega / MediaFire / SendSpace ... just to name a few.

I agree.

If anyone can download this, please re-up to Mega.co.nz or uploaded.to!
Thanks

That's not happening. Read my posts above. And yes, you *can* use download maagers with FileFactory.

If I find any of my files on any other sites, this will be the last time I post here and I will pull all my existing posts down as well.

I have a LOT of high-quality music that I'm willing to share here, but it will only be shared on my terms.

I spend a lot of time and effort on the things that I post. Unless you're making some sort of donation to the cost of the box set, you are not entitled to anything for free. If you're not contributing, you get it when you get it.

You're behaving as if you own this music. What's your problem if some kind member of this filesharing community ups your rip to another host? Are you making money with FF downloads?

You realize the 12.55G version is 24/192, right?

You can always grab the smaller versions if you want.

Technically, you aren't entitled to sell the digital version in the first place. And most shriners don't, in case you haven't noticed.
A previous post asks for donations on a voluntary basis. My, how your tone has changed... it's just about the money then.

It would be nice if Decca made those files available in digital form, tagged and user-friendly. I don't have a turntable, tape recorder, or cd player anymore. You do seem to have a good turntable then? Good for you, and it's a crying shame for the rest of the world who has to put up with your teenage antics.

I do not expect you to read this far, since you strike me as someone who'd be posting some crude one-liner after glancing over the first paragraph. That won't get you any respect, nor will anyone care what you have to offer... or what you have to say, for that matter.
There are many in this forum who do awesome work, Spectre8750 for example does some incredible sound restoration, Yepsa's (the grand fashionista?) unreleased releases. Notice how people thank them, give likes, respect and other attributions. Furthermore, take note how they answer others.

I think you know that you are playing the tough act. It's easier being curt or crabby than invested and forthcoming - that changes with maturity, don't worry.

I am not striking up a conversation with you. I just don't think that this forum needs you as a new troll.

Rather, impress me with your talents, if you truly have any. If that's your equipment and software, you should be able to do many awesome things. That will elevate you from a hack to an audiophile. Who knows, if you are that good, people will appreciate your work, and they support your talents than your greed.

Ok, take your ball and go somewhere else. 24 posts, most of them immature comments... whooppee, we'll surely lose a national treasure.

That is your queenly perogative (to paraphrase Game of Thrones).

Reup to MEGA plz.

---------- Post added at 05:16 PM ---------- Previous post was at 05:15 PM ----------

There's virtually no way we can download 12GB thru File Factory. It takes a month....

FulciLives

The only way a huge download like this works on a site like File Factory is if you purchase access to the site. Then you get fast speeds and the ability to use a download manager. Otherwise, you are screwed. This is the "old school" method of file sharing and I thought this way died long ago since there are places that are both free and yet still fairly fast.

Note to the OP ... you pissed us off because of YOUR choice of file hosting. That is YOUR fault, not OURS. Remember that and learn from it.

We're not going to pay for File Factory to download one album anyways. Other sites use uploaded.to or MEGA. MEGA is better. They provide 60GB for free users.
