Wow, I'm really enjoying what I'm hearing! I'm not hugely surprised, as his work on Wallace & Gromit over the years has been absolutely top notch. The tracks are all very mixed up though. I might go through and group them together for their shows/films. Thanks again for uploading! :)

bit of trivia for you all ... Julian is the son of Sir John Nott who was secretary of state for defence in Thatchers governemnt during the falklands crisis .

Julian Nott has a few more tracks on his website uploaded to Soundcloud. Some of them are from things newer than this release. I haven't listened to anything so I don't know if the tracks from the films/shorts that are on this release and on his website are duplicates (but they probably are).

All I see is the WALLACE AND GROMIT THEME TUNE which I have a hard time figuring out if it's from WRONG TROUSERS or A CLOSE SHAVE but I think it's from A CLOSE SHAVE. He must of gotten it from the promo around the internet.

Yep, it's the same track as from the promo.

Yes, the W&G Theme is from A Close Shave and the other two are from Curse of the Were-Rabbit.

I mean; when he was surpriced to see the promo tracks on YouTube, could it be that he was simply surpriced that someone else had gotten hold of a non-commercial CD with them? (I'd assume he is at least aware that there is a promotional CD of his work titled "The Music of Julian Nott".)

I'm not sure. I'd assume he's aware of his own promo CD.

"I think people have put up much of the soundtrack Youtube. I have no idea where they got it from - I should search there. There is no official release I’m afraid. I’m glad you like the music!"

It does sound to me like he's simply surpriced that the music is out there in public. That "I think" makes it sound kinda vague, too... maybe he hasn't checked closely enough yet to notice that only the 7 tracks released on the promo CDs are out on YouTube.
