I plan to play and or own every PSX RPG. And I need a little help. Does anyone know where I can get a full list of the PSX RPGs? It would be greatly appreciated.

First off, you're crazy.

Secondly, try any gaming website such as IGN, Gamespot, or Gamefaqs and do an rpg search.

why would you even want to do that. with the amount of rpgs to play, lets give it a low number of an average of 20 hrs to beat each game. lets say there are 50 rpgs on the psx. thats 1000 hours of play. and those are low numbers. thats a lot of rpg play time. and you'll have to play the shitty rpg's as well

no, i just think its a crazy idea. seriously, why do you even want to do this? It just doesn't seem worth it to me, to endure the bad rpgs and beat them, and to invest all that time in both good and bad rpgs, just to do it?

Sure, I may be crazy, but its just something that I would like to do. Because the some of the PSX RPGs are real gems. Some of those so-called "bad" RPGs are alot better than some of the RPGs that are coming out today. Like Chrono Cross, Breath of Fire 3, Saga Fontier and Wild Arms. Seriously, there are ALOT of good RPGs on the PSX.

I'm sure there are worse ones than those. I liked Chrono Cross. it was a dissapointment campared to what it had to live up to in Chrono Trigger, but i enjoyed it. uck. because i just breezed through the list, and if you get all those games you suck, and should give me some money, becuase you are obviously rich lol

What about Phantasy Star VI, Legend of Dragoon, Exodus Ultima, Dragon Warrior 7, Lunar 2, Suikoden, Star OCean 2, Skies of Arcadia. From what I remember those were all good games as well.

If you're in New Zealand, you might have a lot of trouble getting a lot of RPG's.....

I hate being in a PAL territory.

Star Ocean: The Second Story in PAL is fucking rare.

I had a bid for one on eBay for $100 - for a PS1 game noless - and it ended up going for $180 :(

It sucks, because Star Ocean 1 and Star Ocean: Till the End of Time are fantastic.

...i'd just like to once again register my disgust that Xenogears and Final Fantasy Tactics never got ported to Europe.

Yeah I always wanted to play Xenogears.........Is Star Ocean: Til The End Of Time good? I'm thinking of buying it.

It's great, Purrr. It's not quite as polished as Final Fantasy X or Kingdom Hearts, but gameplay wise it's terrific. The story itself is a blend of fantasy and sci-fi that I wouldn't have thought possible, and it's emotionally gripping.

The voice-acting is so and so, but ultimately it's worth the price of admission. And it's huge - 2 DVDs!

Indeed. It's hard enough to find a copy of Suikoden II never mind Suikoden I! Legend of Dragoon is also pretty rare, but I don't know anything about the other games in 1 W1nged Angel's list.

Nevertheless, the whole Suikoden series & Legend of Dragoon are really great Rpg's which, if possible, are definitely worth fishing out.

I think the biggest problems will be getting all these games. They are a lot more RPGs than some people can imagine. But the most of them never leave Japan. But that doesn't mean you won't find informations to these games on the net. That means, at the end you will have a big list with RPGs, but you won't even get half of them. :(

Local stores always seem to have Legend of Dragoon over here.

Anyway, .hack // infection's ending is highly unsatisfying as it's part of a 4 part series. The story isn't all that interesting to begin with... it's much like playing an online RPG, except with more repetitive dialogue. Not a whole lot to do except fight. I would definitely go for Star Ocean 3 instead.
