Here's another classic movie musical I was able to create a truly complete soundtrack for using the 5.1 audio tracks from the DVD release but that didn't make it complete by any means. This soundtrack took a bit of work and is sourced from SEVERAL sources. Aside from presenting the entre incidental music score for the film here, I was able to provide several outtake numbers and extended versions. In addition to all THAT I have included 24 "bonus tracks" that include original soundtrack versions, quadrophonic alternate mixes (sourced from a remastered version of the original quadraphonic edition of the soundtrack LP), single versions, rehearsal recordings and even a few flat out alternate takes. Unfortunately this soundtrack will not actually fit on two 80 minute compact discs. Each "disc", as labelled, runs a little over 80 minutes.

The only track with any noticeable SFX is "Second Hand Rose (partial - as used in film)" as the applause at the end of Fanny's audition for Ziegfeld was on every channel. Slight footsteps might be audible on "Enter Fanny".

TRACKLIST:

For the cover artwork on this one I decided to use one of the original 1968 quad posters as a base and then designed the cover from there. (I design ALL of my own covers for my custom soundtracks.)

Remember, people who download this complete soundtrack are the luckiest people in the world! ;)

Enjoy!!

My BluRay for Hello, Dolly! has sort of disappeared at the moment and I have yet to purchase "The Way We Were" on BluRay as I've been unemployed a lot lately. lol The "5.1" mix on Dolly's original DVD releases was more of a 3 channels have music, dialogue and SFX mixed together and the other channels are just hiss, noise and slight echoes of the rather loud bits of the dialogue or music. When I find my BluRay again, I shall check it out and hope they fixed that.

This is phantastic! This is the cleanest version of the cut tracks (lifted from the promo LP, I suppose) that I've heard so far!
In case you're interested in two minor additions:
According to steviefromAlaska, there also used to be an extended Road Show "Exit Music", mostly a re-edit using cues from the original overture. I tried to reconstruct that track, based on his information and recollection, and using actual OST cues. (One or two of my cuts are sill audible, though, but I guess it's listenable.)
Also, I am including the Single Version of "Second Hand Rose".

Once again, thanks a lot for all your impressive collection and the immense work this must have been!

The only reason I didn't include the "roadshow" version of the Exit Music is because no one can verify there was any actual difference (I have even heard it when played at the end of the limited anniversary engagement of the Road Show Version in Los Angeles in 1998) and I have to admit I think it was just a proposed extended version. I was tempted to include the album version of "Second Hand Rose" (identical to the single version) but felt it didn't fit as it wasn't the way the song was heard in the film. I'm curious to hear your edit of the proposed/possible extended road show version of the Exit Music!

I'm currently working on another Streisand musical using the 5.1 tracks and alternate mixes/takes and unreleased tracks. It won't be AS inclusive as this soundtrack is due to several incidental music cues having too many SFX mixed into the music tracks but it will be a much fuller release than the film has ever gotten before. And I have one other Streisand complete (absolutely complete incidental music score with no SFX) soundtrack (minus one deleted number that no one has ever been able to confirm was even recorded) that I need to retweak as some tracks are a bit echo heavy that I plan to upload in the next few weeks.

Stay tuned!

(Oh and the deleted numbers for Funny Girl were sourced from a couple of different albums. One was, in fact, the advance promo soundtrack album. :) )

As soon as I can access Hello, Dolly! again I will definitely look into it. It is, after all, Barbra! ;)

I'm currently in the middle of working on a couple of Rodgers & Hammerstein musicals as a favor to a friend. So there will probably be new work soon!

take a look at the page on net:
https://yts.gs/movies/hello-dolly-1969
Choose your version (1080p or 720p)
I'm downloading the 1080p version for me.
Its AAC, but they don't wrote how many channels are in it.

I hope this will "refresh" your loss of BluRay disc

Thanks for "Impossibleego" Expanded Version" of Funny girl.

I hope your new post will come soon... here waiting.

Thanks from Brazil.
