After what I feel is a fairly lengthy absence from this website, I've somehow gained the courage to finish up a Bad Fur Day rip I've been sitting on for a while. Despite this game's popularity, a good complete rip is pretty much impossible to find. Of course, there's good reason for this, and none of this would have been possible without a lot of people I owe a lot of credit to!

As a nice bonus, this rip also includes an instrumental version of the Cock and Plucker (without any talking or bar sounds), an instrumental version of Poo (which has been on my Youtube channel for a while that doesn't containing any farting or dung sounds), an instrumental version of Undead without the children laughing, and a couple of additional instrumental goodies that you can see in the track list above!

From my knowledge, the only USF rip of this game was from Josh W., but it's lacking proper track timing and missing a couple of tracks as his readme says (Elevator Music, The Cock and Plucker, All variations of the Countdown track with the exception of the final). I ended up just using N64MidiTool to remove all of the ambience tracks I didn't need, and just played that part of the game while using Project 64's WAV recorder. I could've attempted to mess with the USF to get the other variations by themselves, but I was a bit lazy. The MIDI isn't incredibly easy to work with either since identifying what instrument is what with a different soundfont is hard (and painful on the ears in some scenarios).

Maybe later I could update it, but I have another rip that needs some updating...



(I'd highly recommend you give this game's soundtrack a listen if you're fond of good cartoon-y orchestra. Don't judge it based off of it's license!)

I also couldn't find Elevator Music at all in the MIDIs I ripped, so I had to do the same thing as before with the Countdown to get it.

I also just realized I attached a PNG as album art which doesn't make the album art displayable on my Sansa Clip Zip (at least with every album I've ever tried)...Oh well, easy fix I guess. Guess that's what I get for trying to finish this up pretty late at night. Sorry about that!

In the set you've got 2 versions of rock solid and surf punks, one i presume is the original and another one called "Audio HLE Mix". Im curious where the audio HLE mix comes from and what it means.

I know this thread is like, a year old, but I'd like to suggest some improvements.

- Every track has some kind of weird sound that plays at the beginning and could be annoying to people wearing headphones.
- And possibly improve the quality somehow? Personally, I don't know the best way, but there would be others that know how.

If you could update this with these changes, this would be the best Conker game-rip so far.

Re-listening these tracks on my iphone, I kinda agree with Mariofan here. The tracks kinda do need some improvement, if you have time
