Has this masterpiece really been unreleased until 2015? Thank you so much! How does the sound quality compare to the 'sessions bootleg'? I love the Main Theme. Great film and score.

I don't have the bootleg, so i can't compare. The audio quality from this release sounds perfectly fine for me.

CaptPorridge, I am in the same boat. How do you download this baby? Help, please.

If the people was enough grateful to reupload my stuff when i'm away during years (and when people are asking for a reupload during those years), i wouldn't need to use this site for my uploads today. I agree this is a crap website full of ads and i'm OK with that.

When hundreds of persons are downloading something, do you think it's normal no one is able to reupload it when some guys are asking for it ? I don't think so. FFShrine looks like a leechers community now, multiup is the perfect upload site for this kind of community. Mega link is a luxury reserved to some great private communities (i'm sharing the mega link on here), able to share/reupload when needed.

Some friends complained to me (per PM) about the non-gratitude here especially about the "Like button". Like button = one click | Downloading the score = 3-4 clicks, is it so hard to push on this like button when you already been able to make 4 clicks ? I'm not talking about reputation or reply in the thread. Reputation is 3-4 clicks, too much for most of people here. At this point 112 persons downloaded the link and only 17 persons liked this post, is it normal ? Again i don't think so. You're lucky because i don't care about rep/like, i'm not here for the gratitude of the people. I only care about the sharing process and i'm mad when this sharing process is broken because people don't want to reupload the dead links. People complained recently about tapoktro, yes sometimes he's a douche but he's pretty usefull with his mirrors links and i guess he's sharing his links in a few others places. Spreading out the scores is great a thing, everyone have access to them easily from this way.

I've been in trouble to recovered some stuff uploaded here before (when my HD crashed), why ? Because no one created mirrors or spread out this stuff in others places. Many private places exist now with some rules like "don't share outside this place". I'm not talking about rare scores but CD rips from released scores. These guys aren't selfish, they're just pissed by this crappy leecher community here and don't want to share anymore on this place. You're pretty lucky to have some great guys like KevinG still sharing on here with great rips (lossless, 320, artwork) maybe he'll be pissed one day and leave on a private place. The community already lost many great guys in the past, some of them are still sharing, exclusively on private places. What gonna happen when the people from here will lost every great guys ? Well, you'll not get anything more. You'll be finally free to complain in peace because you don't have this complete score or the lossless version etc...

"Trade circles" exist because the community is selfish. People who have rare stuff don't want to share them anymore, because the community is not enough grateful with them. If you don't get anything more, this is only your fault, you deserved what's going on today. If you get incomplete scores, this is because the source (or one guy in the process) delete some cues from the complete score, why ? Because you don't deserved the real deal, same thing about lossy sessions... Everyone want to keep his crap now.

I'm still surprised to see the number of guys able to ask for a link in a thread but unable to click on thanks button when the link is public. One click, i guess it's too much for the people here... When i mean you, i mean the entire community (not Alamo).

So keep leeching and enjoy my crap link.

Dear Piano,

I wanted to congratulate you on your honesty of opinion. Manners costs nothing. Since joining the forum I have communicated with a number of kind and generous people from all over the world. Individuals happy to share their personal love of film music and offer back catalogues of from their own personal collections to me mainly via the brilliant, fuss
free not ad-ware, MEGA. I wont personally name these kind and generous souls in the same way I wont name some of the wankers that can be found on here either.

Now I may not agree with everything you have said in your lengthy post, but much of it in regards to not being selfish and offering kind gestures is something that the forum should pride itself upon, not squabble over like children in a playground yard. Despite the wonderful folk who have offered great and rare scores to me (Again, I am very grateful) I have also, if only very rarely found a small number of rude, discourteous and fly individuals on the forum whose links take you to dodgy, virus filed download sites and who have little interest in forwarding our love of quality film music.

I've been collecting film scores for over 35 years, and would be happy to share anything in my collection to those interested. No exclusions. A simple please and thank you costs nothing. Manners maketh the man, simple as that. I know I'll be continuing to use my manners to you good people on here each time I request a link and I'm more than happy to offer up and rare or not score in my collection, we are after all, all film music aficionado's. Long may the site and all your generous souls rule.

Cheers

M

Many thanks Piano for your share, and I agree with what you said and several other people here too, I myself have shared a few score's need to share more, you can't really take all the time and not give something back, but if people choose not to click a like or post a comment I'm not to bothered, I've done a bit to grease the musical cogs, mind you if people get too pissed off the well will dry up.

Thanks Piano! I believe most of the time I get used to thanking the posters even though a lot of times i'm not even downloading it. You could say it becomes a habit, but most importantly that simple thing called "thanks" goes a long way in acknowledging the effort and contribution of the posters.
