This is how I got it, untouched (I just renamed the files from something like 'Crimson Tide_06M14 This Is Not A Drill' to '06M14 This Is Not A Drill'; as I've seen that some people complained to have the film name at the begining of the original files...).

One of my favorite Zimmer scores. Nice to have more than what's on the official release (which I thankfully haven't worn out...knock on wood)

10.9999 out of 10! This is truly one of the best film soundtracks Hans have ever composed since Drop Zone and Bird on a Wire.

At last!!! Finally we got the real thing! :)
- complete
- best sound in full dynamic range and correct volume levels
- alternates
- goosebumps
- tears of joy

But it's unedited, so I take the liberty to hijack this thread and share my edit (Took out silence, added music) here (Thread 188987). It's encoded in FLAC, which is maybe a little bit more practical. No sound alterations were (to be) made. :)

Aside from the official album, all other editions are now obsolete. (:

I remember the discussion raging on about this being Zimmer's "best" score. And how often I tortured myself listening to it to find the "greatness".

In the end, this is just very slick and it fits the mood of this 90's movie nicely, but it's only "great" when compared to the rest of Zimmers scores. I mean the ones he actually composed... himself. These days I rather watch the movie (again) than listen to the music.

I mean I play play all my scores with VLC and...no differences :D (they're both lossless in't it ?)

Yeah, but I'm just not that great of a fan of proprietary codecs. My standalone audio player for example won't play them. Foobar conversion almost always reports errors. And so on ... :/
