The rip is fine, but twice a big as it should be. CDs have 16 bit and 44 kHz. So somewhere in your ripping process an upsampling to 88 kHz has happened. Perhaps you can write here how you are doing the rips to get some advice where this upsampling occured.

I use Easy CD-DA Extractor. I will select 44100 HZ in the proper box the next time.
