By the way, V2 (in the first post) may confuse some people as referring to mp3 V2 (VBR quality setting 2) instead of version 2 of your rip.

One more thing: Ogg is only a container format. The actual audio codec used here is Vorbis which is a lossy codec (compared to the in-game quality, this rip is "lossless" in that sense, yes). Bitrate here is 357 kbps on average, and there are 106 audio files, not 107.

yes i was aware that it is a lossy format. but they are in the ORIGINAL quality hence lossless as there is no higher quality source. as for the 107th track, I deleted it because it was ten seconds of silence (and it was even called silence sooo.. yeah not much point keeping it in)

in regards to the V2 confusion, I hadn't considered that. what would you suggest I use to designate the second upload as opposed to using V2?

"Upload Version II" is perfect, as is "original quality" "taken straight from the game's audio folder". ;)

I'm not familiar with Baldur's Gate but I've heard the name. I'm sure people on this forum would appreciate a rip of that too.
I found this game's music by accident: I casually watched someone stream this game on Twitch and I really liked the music. Even though I wouldn't play this kind of game, I had to have the music.

Pillars is very much based on baldurs gate. Game play wise its nearly a clone. Story and dialogue wise bg2 far exceeds it
