I was reading this guide for FFX and it says to get Dark Anima, "Mount Gagazet, redo the chalenge in which Wakka had to throw a bal
at the revolving thing then teleport back to the entrance to Mount Gagazet and
Dark Anima will be there waiting for you." But when I go back and try to redo this, it can't be redone. So how am I susposed to get Dark Anima? I haven't beaten the game yet so I don't know if this is the problem.

I didn't get there yet, how far are you in the game? What scene was nearby.

I'm at Yunalesca. But I just teleported back to the place and tried to redo that part but it won't let me.. :[

i think it's cause you only get to do it once.. but then why would it say go back and redo it?

If not you've won the game yet you can't kill him and you can't get him. You need the airshiop first. And if not you've won the game yet you won't be strong enough.

Yeah, I think I need to beat the game because they say Dark Anima has 8 million HP. If you guys are interested in reading this and trying to see if you can get any Dark Aeons then heres the page and tell if you got any.

That's the International Version only. Only that version has Dark Aeons.

In the american version, there is no dark aeons, only in the re-released japanese one (interntaional).

Dark Anima is probaly the hardest Dark Aeon.I pummeled him with max strength Auron,Tidus and Wakka and it took forever to take the bastard down but I did in the end

Hardly, I'd say Dark Yojimbo or Dark Bahamut. But that's just me. It depends on the strategy you use in the end.

Actually none of the dark aeons appear until you visit highbridge AFTER defeating Yunalesca.
Dark Yojimbo is imo the most difficult dark aeon.

lucky for me i have the aus versiona nd have destroyed all dark aeons and penance. unfortunately blake if u are in the us there and u got your game from a store then u dont have the dark aeons at all but if u do here are tips.get as far in the game as possible to the tower of the dead-the part before the last boss then level up l;ike crazy.then find your dark aeons they are like impossible you must have autolife or u are screwed or u can be really cheap and zanmato them.

^ that would in fact be really expensive seeing as how you have to dish out a lot of money for Yojimbo to do Zanmato against Dark Aeons. But i know what you mean. It is an easy way out. Actually fighting them is more fun.

it would be fun but i am really not the levelling up type i hjate loading screens,waiting,and repetition. i just try to get through the game enjoy the story,meet my goals which is 100% complete and if i have to be max level thwen so be it but if there is an easier way which isnt a gameshark code or some cheta then damn it i will use it.

Well, if you want truly 100% complete, and that means everything, it would include:<ul><li>Max Gil</li><li>99 of all items.</li><li>Effectively maxed sphere grid.</li><li>Max stats for Aeons, including 99999 HP and 9999 MP.</li><li>Maxed out Bliztball players (all players, not just your team).</li></ul>If you have the time to do that, then go for it. But it will get extremely boring and tedious.

I would recommend just leaving the Dark Aeons until you have maxed out your stats. Using Zanmato just destroys the point of having Dark Aeons in the first place. They were added for a reason, to give harder challenges in battle.

The Dark Aeons are the hardest series of bosses in the whole game, except perhaps Omega Weapon.
Even Dark Valefor's attacks do at least 9999 apiece.

Defeat Yunalesca first, believe me, then in the Gagazet cloister, go back and do that wakk/ball thing and then when you do it, go to the entrance of gagazet and Dark Anima will be there, be careful, dark Anima is VERY powerful, and really hard to beat if you aren't that far on the sphere grid!
