This thread pertains to animated TV shows/movies centered on DC.
People were disappointed that Beware The Batman ended after just one season, I agree. It wasn't as great as Batman TAS, but let's be honest here. Nothing will. But Beware The Batman was still a good show.
My favorite shows:
Batman TAS - I didn't like the revamp version much though. Too many favorites to start naning them.
Superman TAS - It was a great Superman show. Some of my favorite episodes were the Batman crossovers, the Darkseid and Braniac episodes, Speed Demons (The Flash crossover), the
Supergirl episodes (Little Lost Girl)
Batman Beyond - The music is just great here. I clean or exercise/workout to this music LOL!!! As a fan of Batman, it is tough for me to watch it sometimes. The first episode where Bruce struggled to save the female hostage, took off his mask and said never again, Barbara Gordon (she seemed bitter towards Bruce and unlike her father, claims she can't/doesn't want to see Batman.) Many cite the JLU episode, Epilogue as the real conclusion.
Justice League/JLU - The only issues I have here is how important they made Superman and how vulnerable they made Batman. It seemed as if this show should've been called Superman's League. Granted, he wasn't always strong. But he was a lot. In the Divided We Fall episode, Green Arrow said the Justice League needs Superman as if they other founding members don't matter. All the founding members were important as they brought something unique to the group. Batman...yes he has no superpowers like the other founding members have. But they made him too vulnerable. Also, whether he was in costume or not, he always used his Bruce Wayne voice. His deep Batman voice heard in Batman TAS was not present in this show.
Straight To DVD movies:
I've enjoyed the Batman ones, especially the ones where Kevin Conroy voices him although the other individuals who've voiced him aren't bad.
The Justice League ones are good though I didn't enjoy Throne of Atlantis that much.
Superman's had some good ones too.
