These are from Gabriel Mann's site, I loved this series so much, so unfortunate there is only 8 tracks for 13 episodes. So upsetting the series got cancelled, it was my favorite.

Well anyways, here's the tracklist (and download link)

Neat.
Going to check this out.
I'm not familiar with Gabriel Mann.

He has done some Spyro video games (The Legend of Spyro series) and with Rebecca Kneubuhl. All the Spyro scores are wonderful in my book. He has some audios on his website from the video games too, he has a lot on there, they probably would sound better than a rip from the game disc. They would be from the final mixes probably.

It's funny, this TV series is released on Amazon and iTunes digitally, but there's not even a DVD release. I've seen some DVD screeners of the Pilot, which would be very cool to have..it would be somewhat official haha.

TV is a shoddy business.
Any series to get a DVD release is lucky.
Any series to get a BD release is even luckier.

Fox's "Almost Human" series never got an official DVD release.
You have to order it online from an archive retailer.
Fox hated it that much.
The fanbase wasn't in the numbers that Fox wanted to achieve, but it was certainly loud.
But, never loud enough for Fox.

Personally, I'd stick with digital 720p for TV series.
They surpass DVD quality. Having a phsyical copy doesn't mean anything.

Digital 1080p for TV series use the exact same settings as digital 720p and you can see the horrid difference.
1080p has too much garbage in their picture quality.
The size difference between a 720p and 1080p for digital TV distribution is only about 200MB difference.
It's a garbage system they have. Don't know why they even try bother with 1080p if they're going to change the standards for their 1080p encodes.

The quality is inferior to the digital 720p, though.
And probably interlaced.

And since it's a lesser known product, it's likely to be a cheap encode with a cheaper encoding engine.
If a bluray existed, you can create better DVD encodes than the existing DVD retail encode.

8 tracks for 13 episodes... I know that pain, Lockdown.

La La Land released a 44-track album for Young Justice... it runs for about 70 minutes, but there were 46 22-minute episodes with music I'd love to have. Alas, I doubt there'll be a Volume 2, and the Dynamic Music Partners have never been good about putting samples on their website... and unreleased TV scores never seem to circulate around here often.

But you mentioned it had a digital release... did these releases come with a surround sound setup (5.1)? If so, if there are a few unreleased tracks you'd really like to have. I could try to play with the 6-channel file and isolate the music if you were to send the file to me.

I never thought Mann would put up score cues for Star-Crossed, the show's cancelled, and it only had one season. But, I haven't purchased it on iTunes yet. Idk what the audio channels are like..

The Digital do have AC3 in 5.1.
"Star-Crossed.S01.720p.WEB-DL.DD5.1.H.264-KiNGS"

Most likely @384kbps.

Well, that's neat.

Lockdown, if you can give me the AC3 audio and some timestamps, I could try to edit some unreleased cues for you if there are any you're interested in.

I think that all 13 episodes are on my external drive, 1080p downloads. I'll have to check on that..

The CW is like NBC...they can never keep a series for more than 1 (or at least a couple) season(s). On that note, I wonder how much life iZombie has left

Yes. I don't watch it but I mean seriously...how long can that show be stretched on for? At least Nina Dobrev knew it was time to quit The Vampire Diaries. Good for her.

The Flash is doing better than Arrow, which is weird because it's a spin-off of Arrow. But iZombie is more than likely to be renewed.

Oh...I knew I recognized that name from somewhere. I will add my endorsement to the Spyro soundtracks! Thanks for the share, Lockdown. I will check out the series too.
