I know most people here haven't and probably won't play this game because racing game or EA game or w/e but I just HAAAADDDD to post this thread.

First off, this game is great. It took what was good about NFSU (just about everything was good imo) and added more good (no bad). The addition of the one large city instead of a whole bunch of different tracks was a great addition and sort of needed as well, 20+ new cars have been added all with great detail, customization takes a huge turn in this game and is loads and loads deeper and more advanced and the list goes on. The soundtrack was one of the disappointments of the game for me, I definetely liked the soundtrack from the first game more. The Cingular Wireless PDA/phone thing feature is a very nice touch and was portrayed pretty well imo and well, I don't really know what else to say except that I would give this game a 9.5 out of 10.

Heh well usually I don't play race games they never grab my attention for long enough. Except with Star Wars Episode 1 racer and now NFSU and NFSU2. The game itself is brilliant, you trully have the freedom to make your car as you please with amazing detail. The fact that you can roam about freely in the city doing whatever you please is probably one of the best most original features of the game. You can challenge other racers to get unique parts and find hidden races this way.

The soundtrack is decent but the soundtrack from NFSU was better, just a tad.

I have a small problem about the game itself however. =p I have unlocked 100% of all the partts and have a 10 star car (actually 2) but I don't have access to wide body kits. Any help?

About the wide body kits thinger? Shouldn't be to hard to figure out which one I'm talking about then, since you can only build up to 5 stars in the first part and 10 in the second. However my problem was already solved. =)

Just the process of ripping an Xbox game is fascinating.

Here's the deal. I bugged my mom Wednesday night to get the game and she kept being like "We'll talk about it tomorrow." and so today comes around and I go to get it and they're closed and I thought they opened at midnight so I went and they didn't and they open at 6 and it's now 4 and I'm waiting for them to open so I can buy it. :-/

everyone that lives around me is NFSU addicts, and they're all people that work all the time after school just to put useless upgrades on shitty cars. I stay away from people like that, thanks.

I can't stand those little snots who are all show and no go. I practically live for those moments when they insult my frumpy looking Celica, blissfully unaware that the chipped paint and shitty interior covers a 420 horsepower twin turbo V6.

Ya I'm not the biggest fan of import tuners either...that game is just fun as hell. I do however like some of them quite a bit but I would like it a lot more if there were some old muscle cars liek Chevelle's or Roadrunners or something.

OK today I went to Wal-Mart half an hour before they opened (5:30) to make sure I could get a copy and right now it's 9:10 and I just got done playing it ;( and did I mention that I haven't been asleep since 9 am yesterday morning?

Wow, I would definetely put this on my Top Ten of '04 list. Though it can be very tedious at times, I really like how you actually have to drive to the different stores to upgrade your car and stuff. I don't however, like that you can't use the same parts on a new car that you had previously used without having to pay for them again ;(.

Also, if anyone has any ideas on what exactly I need to do in order to unlock suicide doors, split hoods and the higher lvl. trunk audio layouts please let me know. :)

i like the second one more
1) the out run races are nice easy cash
2)downhill drifts so cool lol i could do them all day
3) more cars and parts this goes without saying
the jeeps handle like sh!t but you can put 12 things in the boot


by the way is the acura rsx in it on the back of the case it says it is but my friend has completed it already and he didnt get it he got the rest any ideas
