Ok, first I know this is not something alot of people do, so let me explain life drawing to you. Life drawing is all about learning how to draw the fluid motion in a body really fast...on basic terms. It teaches you how to draw proper form, scale and shows how the mussels bend and move in a body. It really helps to learn this for drawing characters and animals. I'm going to post some life drawing of mine here, starting with basic shape and then moving up into more form based work. Remember this, life drawing is not about making a prefect picture, it's all about the pose of the person or animal.

Wow, looks like a lot of fun. I've done this before in art. I'm really good at this, actually. I'm a really fast drawer. I can easily draw a rough sketch 30 seconds(maybe less), not shaded in of course.

I did some life drawings, 5 minutes for whole figures, and i'd finish pretty fast..... I dunno where the hell those things are, some of them turned out well....

if I get 'em I'll post mine!!!!

I hope I can get pretty good at this..because the better and faster you can basically do this skill the better you'll understand anatomy and be able to draw a person any way you want....

it can be just as beneficial as pouring over those anatomy and muscle structure books for hours...or for some of you that like the short cuts, copying comic books for male figures and "studying" porn for the women anatomies.....

I've done something like that in art class, but we had models. We just had to draw their pose, not all the details ^_^ It can be fun indeed.

yeah Nymph, that's where mine are from. And Ktulu has somewhat of good understanding, I had nude models, but I wouldn't use porn unless I was drawing hentai or something, but I have heard of a few people using it to learn anatomy...lol.
Anywho, here's another life drawing pic, with some more detail. the first set I posted I believe where form 10 sec poses, this one is 30 secs i think.
