I typically search the site thru Google using "ffshrine" and whatever music/composer keywords. It's alot easier than using the resident search engine. Now I'm getting mostly results for "bloglovin" which is parasitically absorbing ffshrine posts. I'm not happy. I wasnt happy before, but even less so now. Happens on other search engines besides Google.

… So what? Is that too big of an inconvenience? Does this bloglovin thing have some kind of malicious code/possible risks for the end-user? I mean, if they're mirroring content, shouldn't you take up the issue to them? This place is indexed in search engines, stealing/mirroring of content is a likely possibility, even more so if it is an automated process.

as explained already, it DOES make things inconvenient for me. I'm not getting the search results I did before, and going thru the blog site is more layers of junk. Even if there's a method to omit "bloglovin" search results from a google search, I wasnt getting the shrine results as before.
I dont think my contacting bloglovin (probably have to join first) is going to change their modus operandi. Obviously whatever they're doing is intentional.

site:forums.ffshrine.org "download links"

Paste that into google followed by what it is you're searching for, you should only get ffshrine forum results.

thanks, Jesse. Seems to work, although not as convenient as typing "ffshrine." I know I can bookmark a google page with that text entered, but that'll only work on my PC.

I did send a complaint to the bloglovin support email address, though I'm sure it will actually gratify them to hear their re-direction plan has worked.
