I kind of have a feeling of doubt in the corner of my mind that SEGA won't release the soundtrack for this, which they SHOULD, but seeing as how they haven't released an official soundtrack for the Classic Sonic remasters (unless I'm mistaken), I have my doubts.

SEGA is probably going to release this on iTunes later in the year. As for the classic Sonic remastered stuff, they haven't because SEGA does not own the rights to Sonic 1 and 2's music. (Nakamura/DCT do)

The audio files have been ripped, but can't be played yet because of newer encryption.

And there's the glimmer of hope.
Also, I didn't know that. Still sucks though.
Secondly, yeah. I noticed when I went into the game's files. But I think I remember someone putting up... 4 pieces of music on youtube?

Must have just recorded it because AFAIK, the actual music files ripped from the game are not playable via vgmstream yet.
