I wanted to present my version of the (nearly) complete score to 2014's Transformers: Age Of Extinction. With this version you will find:

-all of the "dead air" found at the beginning and ending of the tracks removed.
-all volume and equalization of individual cues, and sections within the cues, normalized*
-restored beginnings to "Ratchet Is Killed", "Galvatron Chases Optimus", "Reunited" and "The Knightship Comes To Hong Kong".
-restored combining of the cues "Car Chase" and "Cade Takes Matters Into His Own Hands".
-adds the previously missing cue, "The Legend Exists".
-general combining/separating of cues, as presented in the film mix of the score.

*Honestly, in the past whenever I've shared a personal mix of a score here, I've made completely sure that any volume/equalization work is as good as it can get. After completing such a project, I would spend weeks listening to the finished product via my home stereo, my car sound system and my iPod headphones to assure that it is exactly as I think it should be. If any tweaks or changes are needed, I would do so before uploading. But nowadays, with a full time job, a wife, a 2 year old and life in general happening all around me, I've not and likely won't have the time to do so any time soon. So, with a cursory listen only mere days after completing the mastering of this project, I've deemed it "good enough". Some further tweaking may need to be done in the volume adjustment in some areas. My apologies in advance. However, I can guarentee that the overall balance of the sound spectrum is far superior than the version of this score previously uploaded here (curtesy of the Paramount FYC site), in which the volume/equalization of the sound, from track to track, was all over the place! That having been said, please enjoy!

Get the fuck out of here. I've been planning on a film mix ever since the FYC was released, but I'm waiting for it in lossless. What exactly is the quality of this and does it include Imagine Dragons where they're all supposed to be, including the climax when Battle Cry is heard?

Don't know the bit rate, sorry, that's not my forte, as I just enjoy the music for what it is. Imagine Dragons are present in the same form as they were on the fyc. The ONLY time this deviates from the actual film mix is the end battle. I decided not to mix that in from the OST, as I like it better without it... Or rather the vocal part. Forgot to mention that in my initial post. On that note, my uploads probably tend to annoy people in that regard. When I do these things they are made FIRST AND FOREMOST FOR MY PERSONAL LISTENING PLEASURE. I tend to deviate where I want to. I then upload them, and if others enjoy them, so be it. But I mix it for me first.

DAKoftheOTA
03-10-2015, 04:34 AM
Ahh I see. Then in that case the bitrate is probably 192k

Double the lossy generations.

I'm holding out for the sessions, Both TF2 and 3, particularly 2, had awesome tracks not used in the film, like Battle Glorious in the third. I want the sessions to see if there are things like that in there :D

I remember reading in HZ.com, a hungarian I believed that heard a different track in the small bridge scene of the last battle in AOE, that it was similar to the Dinobot Charge. Never knew if it was true or not, but if it is, it could be in leaked sessions someday.

So I guess you should call it Extended and not Complete ;)

So long as it contians all the score from within the film, it's the complete score

A real complete score contains more tracks than the actual album version or Academy Promo together... check out the previous TF complete scores / recording sessions.

And as the original poster said already:

I wanted to present my version of the (nearly) complete score

So it's arranged by a fan and not even a legit complete score. Also modified (probably even transcoded).

But if you think its complete, it's ok with me. ;)

Yes. And this contains more music from the OST and FYC, since it is both of them combined. Recording sessions are recording sessions.....way different from a complete score. Apples and oranges.

So if I find a FYC of Chappie (HZ) I can just add it to the album and call it complete too? :D

TheSkeletonMan939

No, of course not. It depends on the specific FYC's content.

If the FYC has as much music as the film... then it's complete.

Despite missing the two silenced tracks from the FYC sessions, this is as almost complete as it gets.

That depends. The ONLY cue missing from the FYC was "The Legend Exists", which was on the OST. So adding it to the FYC makes this the complete score as heard in the film.

Because people are fucking idiots and don't know how to label shit. Like someone who calls a complete score "recording sessions". Take Sleepy Hollow, for example. I've had the complete score for a while. 42 tracks. Last night, Lockdown posted an even longer version with many alternates of most of the tracks. Those are the sessions. There you go.

Look everyone, as for me labeling it "Complete Score", maybe I shouldn't have. I too get a little wonky when I see labels like "Recording Sessions", "Complete", "Film Version", "Expanded", "Archives" and others misused. I had debated on calling it "Expanded Score", but that, to me, implies OST+a handful of extra tracks. This is much more than that though since its only missing the 2 cues that were improperly uploaded on Paramounts site. I was afraid if I called it expanded, fewer people would have bothered checking it out. On the other hand, if I did what I did before and called it "97% complete" (a la my Iron Man thread) folks would have complained about that too, as some did then. Besides, the 2 cues that are missing sorda sound a great deal like UNUSED cue, "Enter The Knightship" anyway... Complete enough IMHO.

I think, at this point, call it whatever you want. Even if it's not technically "complete," I can't imagine anyone listening to this release and thinking, "Yeah, but it could've used more, like those two missing tracks." There's a ton of music here.

You know, I realized today that one of my absolute favorites parts of this entire score is when we here the brief and singular useage of Optimus Prime's TF07 theme. It's so short and fleeting, but hearing it played so simply on piano in the middle of this score, makes me happy. It helps that it also really fits the part of the film it is underscoring.

Additionally, I really enjoy the few times we also here elements of the TF07 Decepticon music, further connecting the original trilogy with this film and Galvatron in particular.

Google Play Music

Might want to try a different media player, something like VLC for Android.
I haven't downloaded this so I can't check.

I don't use GPM on my Android. I paid for a premium version to "Neutron" music player.
It supports a lot of formats and allows plugins to support even more formats.
