Hello all.

Recently, the complete soundtracks for Mario Artist Talent Studio, Paint Studio and Communications Kit were uploaded to Youtube by a user called MoreSkyler774 (his channel is here (https://www.youtube.com/user/MoreSkyler774/playlists)). As far as I know, this is the first time these soundtracks have been released on the internet.

I have downloaded mp3s of the playlists and renamed, tagged & reupped them here for convenience. All credit should be given to MoreSkyler774 for the recordings. Download links below (MultiUpFile).

Talent Studio: Download (http://www.multiupfile.com/f/5db6b562) (223.51 MB)
(composers: Kazumi Totaka, Kenta Nagata, Toru Minegishi)

Paint Studio: Download (http://www.multiupfile.com/f/9f868e8f) (83.81 MB)
(composers: Chris Jojo, Martin Goodall, Suddi Raval, Kazumi Totaka)

Communications Kit: Download (http://www.multiupfile.com/f/56ba3bb1) (23.5 MB)
(composer: Hideaki Shimizu)

Talent Studio is particularly great if you dig Kazumi Totaka's N64 era soundtracks (Yoshi's Story, Animal Forest, Wave Race 64) as his fingerprints are all over many of the songs. With 92 songs in all, it's a pretty big soundtrack. Paint Studio has considerably less (16) but some of those songs are also really great and surprising. And Communications Kit is just strange. There is also one more title in the Mario Artist series called Polygon Studio which has yet to have a soundtrack for it uploaded, but hopefully a rip/recording of that will also emerge, likely from the same channel (when it does, I'll set about collating an mp3 release for that too.)

Well, that's all. Enjoy these lesser-known & overlooked Nintendo titles' soundtracks!

Why didn't you just ask him for the download?

You know what? Screw it, this is amazing!

Christ, these past weeks have been a literal music heaven.

I love you guys.

Wow, thank you! This one is a long time coming.

Seriously. Not to mention the giant Aphex Twin song dump.

These songs are like if N64 Yoshi and EarthBound donned their Mario outfits and paraded around as music. Thanks for uploading!

The Triassic Tracks give me a huge DKC2 vibe, mainly because that's what they had in mind for both but you know- It's neat!

I still wish the original youtube uploader would be bit more selfless and upload the original tracks....

Hey, you can just download the tracks on YouTube via the YouTube to mp3 converter.

Hey, you can just download the tracks on YouTube via the YouTube to mp3 converter.

That's what I did originally, using software called "4K Download", but then I renamed & fully tagged all the files+upped them together here. It's much easier for other people this way, especially as Talent Studio is pretty large. :) Also bear in mind that some of the website converters use 128kbps. Files downloaded with 4K are 256kbps, so should hopefully not lose much in the conversion process.

I've just done the same with Communications Kit: Download (http://www.multiupfile.com/f/56ba3bb1)
Strange music in this "game". Composer is Hideaki Shimizu. Again, credit to Skyler774 for doing most of the work.

Just hope Polygon Studio will come along eventually :C RIP your DD.

Yeah. It is unfortunate. I had started doing the recording of Japan Pro Golf Tour 64 too. If I get my DD fixed, or get a new one sometime soon, I'll finish up JPGT64 and then for sure wrap up the rest of the Mario Artist series and do Polygon Studio.

Can someone reupload Talent Studio OST? I don't feel like downloading all the tracks from YouTube and tag them for myself.

Nah it's not. And anyway, recorded from real hardware, there's always some loss... and 64DD emulation is on the way.

Adding to the reupload requests.
These soundtracks are too rare and too good to not be enjoyed by more people.

In the meantime, I ripped some of Polygon Studio's music via MESS' 64DD emulation:
Mario Artist Polygon Studio OST (Work in progress rip) [FLAC 48000hz] (https://mega.nz/#!AIwyzRRa!IYoDkb_kHbJntlFY4ESvDStXJYXMP3zK0mbDxrUDbAI)

It takes some time because MESS is just SLOW AS HECK.
They're also tagged.
Kazumi Totaka is the sole composer of this Mario Artist.

People are busy sometimes. Especially when you notice the 64DD emulation news lately.
I'm finally done with Mario Artist Polygon Studio, without further ado, here's the full OST in FLAC format:

Well supremeleader, that's exactly what happened. I had 100% plans to record all 4 Mario Artist titles, but just as I had finished Communications Kit, my 64DD broke and stopped working. Which is why it took an entire year to get some new songs out on YouTube. The 64DD is still broken though I have recently sent it to someone who works for Nintendo in Webster, New York. He offered to fix it for me, and so hopefully my machine gets fixed. If not, then unfortunately, we'll have to deal with the 6 complete soundtracks and the 2 incomplete 64DD soundtracks that I have uploaded to my channel.

That... that's horrible...
I really hope your 64DD can be fixed. I'm not saying it because of the OST's, but for the Disk Drive itself is a treasure to be kept for the generations to come D:
