Hello, guys! :) It has been a while since I got around to posting on here! I've been busy for the past couple of weeks working on something really important to me. If any of you guys are fans of "The Hobbit," you might have heard about the recent #HobbitChallenge going on, where fans got to recreate scenes from the films to win cool prizes. The voting period is over now, but we worked hard on the films, so I hoped to show them to anyone who might be a fan of the series. If you are interested, please take a look! ♠♠ These are the films my sister and I created for the #HobbitChallenge! We only had two weeks to come up with the ideas, film them, and then edit and put them together, but it was a fanTAStic two weeks, and we really enjoyed the process! ^_^ We live in Japan, so our entries are for the Japan contest--thus, we tried to give the scenes a Japanese makeover of sorts! :) If you would like to read more about each scene and how we've changed it, please visit them on Youtube and read the descriptions for each video! I'm a bit delayed replying to these, but thanks a bunch for your comment! :) We didn't win the contest, but we sure had fun making them nonetheless! Wish we could make a whole series, but alas, that would definitely require a budget! XD (Just so many ideas we could play with for the Hobbit in a Japanese setting!)

My first exposure to Tolkien was the Rankin Bass animated Hobbit, which lead to reading The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings (every night my dad and I would read it together), which lead to a life long love of all of the professor's works, from The Silmarillion to Smith of Wootton Major. So it'll always have a special place for me. :)

Loved the videos - very fun to watch!
