Dance of the Vampires (Tanz der Vampire) is a German-language, very successful musical by Jim Steinman (music)* and Michael Kunze (text), based on Roman Polanski's film of the same in 1967. There was also a Broadway version of "Dance of the Vampires", but this was changed significantly and in a bad way from the original German languaged version, and was discontinued after a few shows. This is the presentation of the "Original"

And that�s the plot :
Professor Abronius with his assistant Alfred way to find vampires. In a remote inn they find the first clues: garlic. The daughter of the innkeeper, Sarah, is long held hidden to protect them from the vampire the Earl of Krolock. But he finds her and seduced her to an invitation to his castle. Professor and Abronsius follow her and soon fall in danger ...
