Thank you, Foxturo. I didn't know the Russian Vernon Duke and he's another of those composers whose songs make me think "OK, joyful, catchy, easy and wise on the symmetries, harmonically beautiful, and I want it to play again. Damn, how do they do it?". Writing a really good happy song -or any good song- is not as easy as it may seem.
I compiled this info from
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0044370/ and the movie, to tag and rename the files:

And there's a funny thing about "That's What Makes Paris Paree" (youtube (
https://youtu.be/rUpeJfwvtAc?t=188)): it's a sort of "lyrics-ostinato", where Day keeps repeating "The Eiffel tower" after Claude Dauphinr's lines, and this rang a loud bell... because it's exactly the same resource used in Alan Menken/Glen Slater's song "Let's Agree To Disagree", from the TV series Galavant. In this case, Vinnie Jones doesn't reply with something new to Mallorie Jansen's preferences but keeps repeating his choice of beer (youtube (
https://youtu.be/9B9rjRzlWtU?t=31)).
Looks like modern musical composers/lyricists drink from the classic fountains, doesn't it?
Oh, and don't miss Mrs. Day belly in the first video. No surprise from a dancer, but she was indeed in shape! :D
Thanks again for sharing this. I had a good time with it.
