Hey everyone! Okay, in FF8, who is your favourite minor character? When I mean minor, I mean a non-playable character (The only playable characters that don't count as maj-c. are Kiros, Ward, and Edea. Seifer counts as a major one.). My favorite is Julia because I love her voice (Faye Wong's actually) but I think she was way too forward with Laguna at the Galbadia Hotel... . Okay, nevermind, she isn't my favourite. I guess my favourite minor character then is...Zone. He's hilarious and we have one thing in common---stomach aches. Heehee...

Favourite minor character i'd say Ward but after he loses his voice then he becomes less interesting so im gonna say Kiros plus his bloodpain limit break is really cool

Mine's prolly Kiros cause of his cool blades when he fights.

mine would probably be.....um...fujin, you know, but if you count him as a major character then my fav would be probably zone. what a wimp!!

Yeah, Zone is one funny character indead. And he damn well isn't a wimp!

Probably that zone dude, he was pretty funny. He was kinda wimpy lol, but funny at the same time.

FUJIN. FAVORITE MINOR CHARACTER. :D I thought Fujin and Raijin were cool. For most of the game they more or less follow Seifer blindly, but eventually they realize how screwed up he is and they save him. I think most people either would have said "oh well, he's evil now, so he's my enemy" or would have continued to fight for him out of blind loyalty.

Fujin or Raijn.. played some semi important parts in the game Imo.. so I wouldn't really call them minor... semi minor more likely ;)
I had fun with the little rascal @ balamb under galbadian occupation. Zone and that other forest owl are alright :)

kiros rocks, with his cool hair braids and blade-hands.

I really like zells mum, and i bet her food is delicious aswell. mmmmmmmmmmmm..........foood.

Biggs and Wedge, they seemed to be the comedy relief of the game, for me.

Wedge. he always got the short end of the stick. lol.

I also liked Fujin and Raijin....I really laughed my ass off everytime I saw them, because they're....well...ya know...

Raijin: Oh yeah; I also wanted to say that Wedge and Biggs were funny, ya know?

....Errmm...yeah. I like people who have little quirks about them, like "speaking" in caps; Saying "Sir" after every sentence, or saying "Ya know" after every sentence....

I just started replaying FFVIII (this is going to take a while because I only have PS2 access when I come home from college on the weekends), and it's amazing how much funnier the first Fujin/Raijin scene is when you already know the characters. Especially liked the scene when Zell comes running into the cafeteria begging for hot dogs. The dialogue was something like

Seifer: (?!)
Fujin: (?!)
Squall: (....?!)
Raijin: (ya know?!)

First I saw Squall's and I was like "oh god, he even thinks with ellipses." Then I saw Raijin's thought and I couldn't stop laughing.

Actually, I think I missed that scene entirely the first time I played FFVIII. Are there any other "hidden" Fujin/Raijin scenes? I noticed the library announcements. I missed the alien first time I played too, so I'm not sure what the significance of Raijin reading Pupurun stories is, but I noticed Seifer is reading "The Sorceress' Knight."

my fav minor charachter would have to be Watts. "Gathering information is my specialty, Sir." Rajin an' Fujin are kewl too.

I liked Seifer and Fujin, they were cool. Seifer was a great bad guy while Fujin was along side him.

I thought of this thread during Spanish class. We were practicing pronounciations and the professor brought up an intresting point: why is "monosyllabic" such a long word? :eye:
